I've always wanted an X Men movie with the original five, and this is what I want as the first MCU movie.

Something I was wondering, do the F4 currently have the sales or merchandising power to be the earliest MCU reboot?

No but that's because Disney/Marvel have been a little petty when it comes to that.

perhaps they could introduce the O5 x-men in the F4 movie first.. like they're on school trip, visiting the baxter building... maybe show xavier and reed exchanging a few words, let us know that they know each other, plant the seeds for illuminati.. something like that would be cool.

One thing to remember is that Disney/Marvel did ask for the rights to certain characters when offering Fox an extension on the Daredevil reboot and one of those characters was

Yeah. Marvel have very much clamped down/cut back on F4/X-Men comics and merchandise in the last few years. Not exactly something that covers them in glory but maybe understandable in a business world. So it will be great for me to get that back, even if we're getting it back for the wrong reasons.

Will be glorious to see this guy in all his glory as a permanent part of the cosmic MCU.

It is amazing how much of Cosmic Marvel's greatness was unavailable due to the FF rights. FF and the various cosmic books were always some of my favorites, now we can FINALLY get them!!!! So happy!!!

I voted, Xmen but I think doing Doom first is best, I think he and FF suffer if you try to introduce him as part of an FF origin story

Which is why you don't do an FF origin story! We have seen it twice on-screen, do what they did with Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Incredible Hulk and just bypass that part.

If you add FF and X-Men Characters, you're talking about roughly half of Marvel's most recognizable characters.

Dr. Doom, The Thing, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Cyclops, Galactus, Beast, Storm, Human Torch, Jean Grey, Reed Richards, Professor X, Magneto, Sue Storm, Kang etc. etc. etc.

These are major, MAJOR characters who have defined Marvel over the past nearly 60 years.

Sokovia IS Latveria. The name was changed when Victor's ancestors were deposed and assassinated. He's bringing it back, baby!

And there you go. Thumbs up to that idea Zarex. Like Soviet Union or what have you.

Definitely bypass.

Will be interesting to see any links between Sokovia and Latveria.

FF because it hasn't had a good movie yet where xmen has so its time to fix that by getting a good FF movie.

The biggest problem with making Sokovia Latveria is it will completely change Doom and his motivations.

To me, Doom is one of the greatest villains of all time because Lee and Kirby grew up in a time that fascist dictators were somewhat common and they understood fascist dictators.

If you study people like Hitler, Stalin, Saddam Hussein etc. you'll find they share a lot of similarities. They often came from humble beginnings and lived in societies where rich, powerful and often cruel people had all the power.

They fought to make something of themselves and overthrow those in power, and when they were successful, they ruled with anger and vengeance and brutal tactics they knew could maintain control because they had seen others use those tactics.

Those are some of the elements that forged Doom, and he was also driven by his rivalry with Reed Richards - obsessed to not only be the most powerful person in the world, but also hailed as the smartest.

Making Sokovia Latveria would completely change who Doom is and now he would presumably blame the Avengers for the destruction of his homeland and people.

I also think that making Sokovia into Latveria would make the MCU Earth seem small. Is there only one Eastern European city on this MCU Earth?

I just don't see any reason to do it and a lot of reasons not to.

If they even go with X-Men I am happy

There is only one Eastern European city on MCU earth! :argh: Even the Eastern European cities such as Prague, Bucharest, Warsaw or St Petersburg don't exist! :argh:

I want him with Nova & Adam Warlock appear in a movie together, maybe with the Guardians too.

All kinds of awesome right there.

Not surprised he is more eager to do X-Men first, he made his bones starting with the original X-Men movie.
