Plus seriously, to make a cinematic universe unfold correctly as we are watching/learning now takes a long, long time to do right.
It is VERY possible in 10-15 years new elements/characters/groups will STILL be introduced into the MCU that exists right now, especially if some rights eventually revert from various places. As it is, it's already been six years and we still have only scratched the surface, still much much more is still on the way (Black Panther, Inhumans, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-man, Dr. Strange and that's just what we know right now).
It just does not seem practical to start the whole thing over to me.
