If Miller Is Off The Project...Who Is YOUR Director?

He didn't say Ridley Scott, he said Peter Jackson.

Rodreguez is a terrible director IMHO.

Ridley Scott is a legend.

Rodriguez's movies are awesome. Yes, they're over-the-top and kinda stupid, but in case you haven't noticed, that's the whole damn point.

Planet Terror rocked. So did From Dusk Till Dawn. I guess I just love mindless, fun, over-the-top, violent, entertaining movies.

Joss Whedon or James Cameron would be a dream come true.

Maybe JJ Abrams too. Or Robert Zemeckis.

If Whedon can't direct it he should definitely write it.

He's one of the few people in the world qualified to write the screenplay for a project like this.

Not. Remember, he was dumped because he couldn't write a good script for "Wonder Woman"

Ridley Scott is most certainly a legend for just Alien and Blade Runner alone. Those films helped define and shape the genres that they were in. They are such an influence on many of the films and directors today. Throw in Thelma & Louise, Gladiator and American Gangster and this guy is golden.

He was dumped because he and Warner Bros. couldnt see eye to eye.

No, dnno is right about this one. I was all for Whedon writing Wonder Woman. What could be better? He just seems to get female characters. But then once I heard what the outline for the plot was, I had to eat crow. He had the story all wrong. So, for once, WB was actually right in dumping him.

Lemme guess...you read this outline on somewhere on the internet? It's probably a fake.

Nope, actually it was based upon a description of his take in an interview with Whedon himself. I'll try to find it and post a link. But it was unfortunately all wrong. Much of what is integral to her character was revamped.

Here it is:

Well, I dont think any of that sounded too bad. Except maybe the part where Diana gets shot in the chest. That really didnt seem to have a point.

But all the rest sounded like it would have been a pretty good WW film. IMO, of course.

The point was to have her come up with this graceful trait of hers of blocking bullets with her braceletes in an empirical fashion. She doesn't knows what bullets are, she gets hurt first, then the next time she's shot, she instinctively puts her arm up, and by the time the movie ends her newfound **moves** have become second nature.

without miller this will fall apart unless they bring in someone equally as talented

well there is tons of directors out there and many who are probably better suited then miller. As others said we need someone like a nolan or a raimi who has alot of faith in the characters and enjoys the characters alot. I would list directors but i dont know alot of names and all that. There is only a few directors who are my all time fav and other films i just see if i like the promos/trailers or i know/like what the plot of the film is, or sometimes actors.

Miller? Really?! The Director of Babe: Pig in the City? There are hundreds of directors better suited for JLA than this shmuck.

I think that Miller is fine for the job.

I think he has a real passion for what he's doing. Time will tell if that is true or not.

Have you actually seen that movie? Cause a director who's able to make a movie about a LITTLE PIG as good as that can't possibly make crap out of the Justice League...

and Mad Max, The Road Warrior. Witches of Eastwick, Lorenzo's Oil (brilliant). Funny how you only bring up the not so good film he made.
