Now that the movie is out, what do you think should they write the next sequel if there is any?

i say HELL NO what abt you guys

**** no.

Anyone, but Kinberg or Penn, please.

Penn yes, Kinberg no......

No I would not want them to write they really messed up the series and did not stay true to any characters except Magneto, Prof. X and Storm. I think that in the future we should get a new director or if we get Ratner back, the director should help write the script.

Penn never exaggerated the truth like Simon did, he admitted he hated Wolverine being in the spotlight, while all Simon said was that 'he will kick ass'

i will take a quote from SW EP3 ... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

I only voted yes because I did like Magneto's character and many of the action sequences, although there were far too many cameos by mutants to allow any development.

hmmm i dunno maybe maybe not depends who would take their place.. i'll vote yes cuz i know few others will

Well.. Penn I would say maybe to.. But if penn only came with kinberg I would say hell no..

I would bring back Hayter, the writer of the 1st to X-men films and team him off with Batman Begins scribe Goyer. That would be a better choice of writers than Kinberg and penn.

Not at all. I think the writing was very poor in this ( too many characters, too many plots, too many idiotic one liners ). They shafted so many characters... and am I the only one angry about them saying the " five day draft " or whatever they called it was just a draft. " Many changes were made " they said. They went on and on about how the movie would be different from that.As far as I can tell that was the shooting draft. Next time don't go into panic mode and try to save face just by lying to the fans. In the end we'll see the result. What exact changes were made. They moved the bridge scene from the middle to the end. Wow... huge change.

i dunno, i liked it, i liked everything about the movie but the length so i would have no problem reteaming the same crew just no free coffee or soda

Get Solid Snake back to write it. I enjoyed this film, but more for the action then anything else. Hayter was a much better writer.

HELL NO! stay away from my precious franchise!

Id rather have Shaggy,on acid, while eating scooby snacks an solving ghost mysteries write the next one in his spare time then allow these two another shot at it.

To answer the question this thread presents bluntly...no, no, no, no, hell no, no.

I think I would want Claremont to help write the script. I know he doesn't really work on movies but he has written the novelizations which are amazing so maybe he would give us a really good true X-men movie because he knows all the chacters.

Id rather cut off my left testicle.

No, I wouldn't want them involved.

I don't know how much of the final blame really deserves to go to them (I.E. I don't know how much of a hand they really had in the pacing which was my main problem; was it really bad writing that jumped all over the place, or was it bad editing by Ratner, or from Fox?), but in the end, we got a watered down version of the Phoenix, a character in Angel who hardly mattered to the plot, and **** just appearing out of nowhere for no other reason than for **** to happen (I.E. Angel appearing at the mansion, and appearing to save his father at Alcatraz)

There is not enough no's in this world for me to answer this question. They should just hire Joss Whedon. Now there is a man who can write! Dammit. :p

Joss Whedon and Chris Claremont writing with Bryan Singer directing it and a different studio (Sony?)...that would be a PERFECT dream...

*drools on keyboard*

Alas, it'll never happen.

Screw Singer, get Whedon to direct. If he writes a good story, he wont **** it up if hes directing.
