The Amazing Spider-Man If Venom is used again, this is how he should look!

I havent read spiderman reign because i think the art is so terrible.

I quite like the quirky looking art in Spider-Man: Reign.

Love the story, love the art.

At least the people in there actually look like people and not some goddamn apes.

I heard that the story is really great but I just can't look at those pages! Lol

I know this is somewhat anal and detail-oriented, but I would prefer that Venom's claws be black. This blends the monstrous claws into the suit around them, and looks very nice, in my opinion. This is something both Todd McFarlane AND Mark Bagley's depictions of Venom have in common.

No yellow claws. Lol and actually i think one of the most important things we should worry about is the cgi! If it looks fake who gives a **** anymore. Its all about teh realism.

The art in Spider-Man Reign fits the mood of the story overall. It had a depressing fell to it.

The pictures that Godzilla posted are like the perfect looking Venom. Take note Sony, though he didn't look bad in Spidey 3.

As for the yellow claws, I actaully thought they looked fantastic in S-M3. Definitely a supporter of his overall design in S-M3.

I didn't like the distorted webbing too much. Otherwise I thought he was spot on. Also like the way he looked when he talked calm and didn't have the Bagley teeth. Looked like classic Venom. Of course I like the Bagley teeth too.

I don't know, I guess I prefer the black claws. They're a bit more subtle, blending into the fingers, looking like a distorted, deadlier version of the black costume.

What do you mean by Bagley teeth?

I thought Venom looked a little bit too small. I'm also not a fan of the yellow claws. Other than that I think he looked great!

I agree. I mean, I'll take performance over size, but if we're talking ideally, I think Venom's size should be in the range from Bagley Venom to McFarlane Venom.
So this at the smallest:

And this at the largest:

And black claws, so they blend in and don't attract attention to themselves.

Those designs are cool, but im wondering how they would translate on film.

I most def. want Venom's claws to be black and camoflauge with the suit. I think now that we've done our Venom look ideas maybe we should share our ideas about who should play Eddie Brock and what version should we expect!

If they did Venom onscreen now he would look WAAAAAY more intimidating than the Raimi series no matter what. Tobey was bulky, Andrew is a twig, it'll definitely be a much better contrast with Andrew vs some big guy than with Tobey vs Topher

That's actually a really good point. He'll look big in comparison to Andrew no matter what. (as long as he is bigger than Andrew :funny:)

It's rather unlikely they'll get a guy leaner than Topher Grace let alone Andrew Garfield, lol.
