I most def. want Venom's claws to be black and camoflauge with the suit. I think now that we've done our Venom look ideas maybe we should share our ideas about who should play Eddie Brock and what version should we expect!

I know people are pretty against Venom looking monstrous and don't want him to have teeth or a tongue, but I don't think he should look too similar to the Raimi version.

I mean, wouldn't it look a bit too much like a guy in a suit if they don't make it animalistic enough.

It should look like the symbiote is actually his skin and the teeth and tongue should look real. They should also use CGI to bring Venom to life but not over-use it, just use it for things like when he's speaking.

And for the people who generally dislike this kind of look

It would make sense with the symbiote in terms of what form the symbiote takes based on Brock's emotions. Plus, the Raimi Venom didn't change in size at-all so it'd be different.

No. I don't want Venom to look like that ever. Keep it a McFarlane-style design as I have suggested. It would look plenty different from Spider-Man 3's Venom. I want Venom to look scary, not silly.

Bagley's Venom varies from a good McFarlane-esque simple design to a bad Erik Larsen-esque gaudy mess.
Ultimate Venom's look works for Ultimate Venom because Eddie Brock has no control over the Venom Suit. The same doesn't apply to the 616 version.

For me, Todd McFarlane's Venom is more consistent than Mark Bagley's Venom.

That was my guess of why you used it. But then again, bagely drew venom for years and macfarlane only drew venom for about 5 or 6 issues? And he looks just a littl different from his first appearence to his last

The best visual interpretation of Venom was the McFarlane version. I don't want to see the protruding tongue and the drool. That crap just looks ridiculous.

A bit. This is a case where I have very strong feelings about Venom's look. My biggest concern is that the next time we see Venom, they'll make him look like the Erik Larsen version, which is an exaggerated cartoon.

I disagree that just because of those reasons it will be Ultimate Venom. For instance, the franchise is supposedly based on USM but Gwen's representation is almost directly taken from the 616 universe. The same will probably go for most characters. I think they're basing Spidey and Peter more on USM in terms of his body style and stuff like that.
