If you had the chance to renew one cancelled show what would it be ?

Ranking:

1. Firefly
2. Arrested Development
3. Rome
4. Futurama
5. Deadwood
6. The Invisible Man
7. That's My Bush

I'm just listing shows that were really good (okay or just decent after my top 4) that were untimely cancelled. Yeah, Rome at least got an ending but it crammed what was season 2 and 3 all into season 2 and has a very rushed pacing in that season. It would have been better spread out.

I don't see why people who list shows who ran their course and ended properly on their own terms. Shows don't need to be around forever.

Oh, and one other one...

Well for me, its pretty obvious... drum roll... Alias. - one more season.

Veronica Mars
JLU

I forgot, Fox cut Drive down before it even had a chance. I mean it may not have bee ngreat but there was potential there.

The Black Donnellys. No contest.

Agreed, they didnt even show the whole first (and last) season on TV, you had to use their awful web video player.

Didnt even get a chance to be good espeically since the last few episodes were the best of the series?

The 4400
JLU
The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
and........Maude.

Yeah, I've been watching the DVD collection and as great as it is, it makes me depressed because there's never going to be anymore.

I don't understand why they sh**can some shows after 4 episodes due to poor ratings and yet they bring back crap like Friday Night Lights over and over again, trying to find an audience that isn't there.

they don't know wht discriminating veiwers want

I think I agree with most people

Firefly!!!!!

And the 4400 now its gone :(

The 1960s Batman.

If the sets hadn't been destroyed, NBC would have picked it up, and it could have evolved. In the 70s, Adam West admitted that he wanted the show to gradually turn more serious and detective-based like the comics of the time.

It wouldn't have become B89 or BB, but it easily could have gotten pretty serious.

My picks:

Models Inc. (With Stephanie Romanov and Cassidy Rae leading a whole new cast!)

Space: 1999 (with the title changed to Space: 2099, and Juliet Landau leading a whole new cast of adventurers as the granddaughter of John Koenig and Helena Russell)

The Flash (with new episodes, and Kyle Gallner as Bart Allen.)

Black Scorpion (new episodes, and Joan Severance returning to the role alongside a new girl taking over the role)

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (updated version)

Jem (new updated version)

Human Target (they should've never cancelled that show!)

Justice League Unlimited (had more potential, even though they had a proper ending)

Tru Calling (one of Eliza Dushku's best roles yet)

Max Headroom (Same as Human Target.)

Arrested Development. Without hesitation.

There are many shows that i wished had lasted longer (Angel, Tru Calling, Veronica Mars, FIREFLY!!!) but AD is the one I'm still saddened over. Fox had no idea what the hell they were doing (Quality-wise, of course).

While I would love to see AD back, they wrapped it up pretty well in one of the best series finales ever.

I would bring back Veronica Mars either continuing in her college years or jumping to her early FBI years that the bastards at CW didn't want.

Futurama is coming to Comedy Central later this year with new episodes. They are in fact just reedited the Direct to DVD movies that they're doing. The first one came out in November. It was a good time travel movie but lacked laughter. Expect another 3 Direct to DVD Movies of Futurama.

Arrested Development most likely will get a motion picture release or Direct to DVD movie now that the strike is over.

HBO announced plans to do 2 Deadwood TV movies to wrap up the storylines. That may not happen.

And of course Firefly did make it to the big screen.
