I saw this poster today for a movie premiere while walking down the street. It stuck out and was quite different from all the crappy posters that litter Toronto (I swear if I see one more Salvidor Dhali poster I'll play "drink whats under the sink")
Anyways I took it down and scanned it so here it is....

Looks like it could be one hell of a night. I know I'll be there.

oh the advertising. Do you really expect me to believe the story.

Besides.....it is blantently your production.

That poster isn't eyecatching. At least I've seen better, cooler stuff when walking around downtown. At least it's pay what you can, but I don't think I'll be going, because I'd rather watch LOST for frees.

Even though I live in Toronto that wouldn't be a show I would pick to go to. (Assuming I had the time, money and a babysitter for the evening I'ld probably go to see this...

No no not my stuff at all....apperently there is a rule on the hype boards that you cannot promote your stuff or try to get anyone interested in it. I just saw this poster and thought "cool I'll check it out." I found them on myspace and watched what they had and it's funny as hell.

the only show i want to see in toronto is kevin richardson in chicago

:fangirl:

I find it hilarious that you think we'd believe this.
HI-LAR-I-OUS

I honestly don't care what you believe. It's not like I'm making up some outlandish story..it's a f--king poster about an event. Thought I'd let the people on here know about it.Why does the superhero hype boards have to be so negative?
I mean....we can have a thread about whacking off to comic books or what celebrity is gay or not (like it really matters if someone is,celebritiy or not) yet when it comes to an upcoming event,it's all met with negativity for no reason other than to be negative.

There's this song by The Fat Boys where the Human Beat Box keeps going "KB....KB KB...." at the end like he's drugged.

Let me get this straight:

You were walking down the street when you saw a poster for "Chet the Net" (some obscure comedy production) and were so enthralled with what is a very mundane poster that you took it home and scanned it?

I'm going to try and put into perspective why I think this is hilarious. Walking down the street in Manhattan I see things like this all of the time. (As I would assume you would as well in Toronto) But I see them so much it's not worth the time to give it a second look.

So you saw this poster and thought it looked so cool, that not only did you take it home, you scanned it?

You can at least do a little better than that. Oh and I love how you follow it up with
"apperently there is a rule on the hype boards that you cannot promote your stuff or try to get anyone interested in it. I just saw this poster and thought "cool I'll check it out." "

Oh, theres a rule?

I'm not negative because your promoting your on show, I'm negative because your story is ridiculous.

You clearly didn't scan that "poster", I know it because you can't achieve that hue of blue on print unless you use a direct ink.

Oh, one more thing:

Where are the marks from the tape or the rips from when you removed it from it's securely stapled position?

I tried to promote something on here once and it was taken down. My comp was on tard and it posted 3 times so I understand why it was taken down. I asked the mod where I could post about my things he said "you cant. Just put it as a sig." I know its messed cuz I looked at the rules after and yeah there is NOTHING in the rules about not being allowed to promoting your stuff.
So apperently you arent allowed to promote your site, messege board, movies artwork,books,etc.....yet I've seen threads promoting all the above so I really don't know what that mod was smoking.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

VERY good point.

Meh lol..........the whole "unknown/catch 22 rule" is bulls--t anyways. I mean everyone on here are geeks and nerds (I dont say that disparigingly its a fact) We all love movies and comics and t.v. etc..so why pull that crap when someone tries to show other people with similer hobbys something they might be intersetd in....

lmao....so then why go to a thread that says "if you live in toronto...."? lol

You dont really want to live in Toronto man. I hate it and I dont live there. (I live a few citys away) I only get out there when I have to....great hot dog carts though. I hear the same about NYC.
