Could you kill him.

Lets imagine someone transports you back to his childhood, he's 3 years old. Knowing what he will do as a adult could you personally kill Hitler. You'd save thousands and you'd get into no trouble.

Could you do it?

if I was Sayid Jarrah, I probably would. I mean he did try to kill Ben as a child so...why not Hitler?

First of all, killing a kid doesn't seem right to me, even if it's Hitler. Second of all, look at how many stories have been written about the ethics of whether or not people should be punished for something they haven't done yet. For all we know, killing child Hilter could result in some great leader in the west turning into someone almost as bad. It's hard for me to imagine good coming out of it, even though it should seem quite logical.

no, paradoxes and the like... the world needed hitler, even if you don't think so and think it would be better if he was wiped from existance.

there's also the posibility that if hitler wasn't there someone worse could rise to power so with that in mind lesser of two evils sort of thing...

Whatever Happened, Happened. You cant change the past Jack.

There was an episode of this of the new Twilight Zone series. I'm pretty sure it was Katherine Heigl who starred in it, and she went back in time to kill the baby. By the end of the episode she managed to get away with it, but Hitler's parents ended up adopting a different baby and calling it Adolph Hitler too, and it was implied nothing changed.

Killing Hitler would just mean Stalin would have a shot at taking over Europe, and World War 2 would have been the Allies against the Soviets.

Yep, as long as i have the use of a gun. Probably harder to do it with your bare hands, but a close range shot to the back of the head? Probably.

See, that's exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. Who knows how many people would end up dying if we actually had a war with the Soviet Union, and Hitler had not weakened them. We'd only be exchanging one brand of evil for another.

Ok like this question hasnt been asked a gazillion times. And if any of you say yes to this questioin SHAME ON YOU! Wanting to kill a little kid. You guys need serious behavioral help

I'd do it, knowing what the results of his life would be. That said, if Lost has taught me anything, it's that the universe always corrects itself. Something else or worse would happen in Hitler's place.:o

Chill out. This is a hypothetical thread on a comic book based site. No one here is capable of making this decision. Sure I say yes now, knowing full well I will never have this opportunity. If I really could and he was just a child, I honestly don't know.

But since this is all non sense, not to mention such a tired question, **** it. Kill the bastard!:cmad:

I would break his leg so that his limp makes him lose credibility.

Whatever Happened, Happened. I could certainly try, but since its what would've always happened, I couldnt actually kill him.
