If you met Hitler as a child.....

Could You Kill childhood Hitler?

  • Yes i could, no doubt about it.

  • No, I'm pretty certain i could not.

  • I'd like to think i could but would probably not go through with it.

  • I have another opinion and shall say.

I have to go with good ol' Daniel Faraday on this.

*hushed, mindful whisper* Whatever Happened, Happened.

We have to go back, Kate! WE HAVE TO GO BACK!

No, if there wasn't Hitler Russia would have been more powerful and you're just switching one evil for the other. And we don't deserve to choose who gets to live and die.

No.

After the First World War, Germany was in political and social chaos. The Weimar Republic was a mess, and it was only a matter of time before a stronger dictator than von Hindenburg took over. Perhaps, if Hitler never became Chancellor, another, more rational dictator would have taken Hindenburg's place. I always believed that the Second World War would have lasted longer had Hitler not made such careless, arrogant decisions.

And I dont believe Stalin would have been more aggressive in his foreign policy without Hitler. He was a scavenger, not a predator.

Probably not; I'd tell him to never take no for an answer when it comes to art, then maybe he wouldnt have given up trying to go to art school...

Now there's an idea. What if you kidnapped young Adolph and raised him to be a decent man?

I wouldn't do anything criminal until at least one person died in the death camps. Its not moral.
However, I would put influences in his life to stop him from being a Hater of all non-aryans.
Of corse I believe the past cannnot be changed. The best we can do is raid his bunker just before he died, and kidnap him and put hm on trial and kill him and deposit the body back in the past, looking like a suicide.

No. It would mess with history. Past, present, and I guess the future would be changed. Sorry, might make me a ass, but the past is the past. You learn from it.

I'd give him a wedgie, it's the safest way to get revenge while still keeping history intact.

I would give him a paint brush and some paint...and tell him to start practicing work on your art.............because your other profession is a killer.

At least we know the outcome with Hitler .

But Marty saved Doc Brown's life!

Yeah, he figured "What the hell?"

However, we still saw in Part II what can happen to the timeline when a seemingly harmless idea, can get twisted by someone.

If Hitler was killed as a child do you think people would be rocking his trademark mustache these days?

Reminds me of LOST when Sayid tried killing Ben.

Couldn't kill the kid. Didn't he just want to be an artist at an early age?

if I was Sayid Jarrah, I probably would. I mean he did try to kill Ben as a child so...why not Hitler?

According to LOST time travel, if I shot him, it would probably be what helped his rise to power, so I wouldn't. It's a lose-lose situation.

I would not kill him, I don't think I could kill a child. If he was older and in gaining power, then yes.
I would not kill him, but tell him what he will do, or if possible, show him what he will do.
Or I could tell him that he needs to stick to painting, because in the future he will be a huge famous artist, but he's going to struggle while he's alive.

No, because:

1) It would mess up the space/time continuum.
2) I would never kill ANY child, no matter what he would become.
