If you were given total control of just one movie franchise...

Nightmare on Elm Street. I'd get Wes Craven and Robert Englund in on it and if Robert felt up to it he'd be Freddy, if not then he definitely have a large part in helping decide who would be a good Freddy. I'd have the two of them work with me to make the best NOES we could and I'd let the two recruit whoever they needed who worked on the original movies with New Line that have the experience with not only the setup but also the mythology.

The movie wouldn't be like 4-6 with him being funny all the time but he'd have his black humor and wit. He'd still be using psychology in the dreamscapes to make them weak and we wouldn't limit it to the boiler room but we'd also try and show that his house was something of a home base for him. Some sort of mention in there that they tried to tear it down a few times but the equipment wouldn't work or the guy in charge would die 'mysteriously' so it stayed up. The neighborhood around it would either be empty or sparsely populated and possibly only by crackpots and the few people who went near the house were only kids who made dares to spend the night there. He couldn't directly affect anyone in the house but he could do minor warping inside like locking doors or moving stairs to make you trip.

We'd use both CGI and practical stage effects like they used previous that worked so well, like the spinning room they used in NOES1 and New Nightmare.

I'd skip any type of origins as he's been around for 30 years, if you don't know who he is there's eight movies, a tv show and several novels and comics to read up on. If it was insisted upon some sort origins I'd have little bits of video during the opening credits where it told the story, *opening names cuts to Unburned Freddy with glove in front of kid, cuts to names then to Freddy in court overlaid with newspaper 'Krueger gets off due to evidence tampering', cuts to names then shows crowd of people chucking explosives (Molotov cocktails and the like) in an open window with Freddys screams coming from inside* then we're on to the movie.

There would still be tons of people around in Springwood ranging from very young to very old. It would still have a high population with less crazy folks than what we saw in NOES6, in fact 99% of 6 is out the window right off the bat.

Not sure about the story but I'd ignore anything with dream demons and anything from FvsJ or the Reboot. As far as we're concerned he has his backstory where he killed kids, go caught, got off due to legal reasons and was killed by the parents. He's been around and knows his powers. He's not limited to the Elm Street kids but has all of Springwood to play with. Hypnocil is available and we have rumors of him but nothing confirmed. The town leaders, Mayor Sheriff and others, are possibly aware of him. As far as anyone else knows he's just some town boogeyman based on a guy who was killed years back. No cults, no crossovers, just Freddy.

Easily X-Men.

My X1 would feature Professor X recruiting the 5 original teenage X-men, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, Beast and Iceman, facing off against the original Brotherhood, Magneto, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Mastermind and Toad.

The movie would end with the X-Men going to the Savage Land to locate a powerful, potentially dangerous mutant located by Professor X using Cerebro. The X-Men are then captured by an unseen force.

X2 begins with Professor X recruiting a new team to rescue the original X-Men, this team being the second genesis team from the comic, Wolverine, Storm, Banshee, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Sunfire and Thunderbird.

In the Savage Land the new team learn that Mr Sinister and the Marauders (nice way to introduce Gambit for a spot in the X-men come X3) are responsible for the original teams capture, most of the movie takes place in the Savage Land with the X-Men coming to learn that Sinisters strings are pulled by Apocalypse at the end, and Apocalypse is hell bent on a new world order.

X3 has all the X-Men from the Savage Land (plus a reformed Gambit) return to Xaviers to inform Professor X about Apocalypse, obviously Professor X already knows about Apocalypse because he's Professor X, so he's been busy recruiting more mutants for the impending battle, here we meet Shadowcat, Jubilee, Havok, Cannonball and Forge.
The Brotherhood has to step up to to fight alongside the X-men, Magnetos been busy recruiting to, Blob, Avalanche, Pyro and a reluctant Rogue are new to the Brotherhood.
A couple of solo mutants would be working on their own agendas, one would be Mystique, the other, Bishop.
This would be my X-Men Avengers movie, just a huge movie, like 3 hours long.

After that? Sabretooth, Sentinels, Legacy Virus, Stryker, Bastion, Cable, Dark Phoenix, Hellfire Club, Morlocks........... the list goes on and on, the potential to make a really great X-Men film is huge, I don't feel like Fox have delivered that yet.
Great ideas. And introducing wolvie in the 2nd movie would be great. Get us used to the original x-men first before wolverine hogs the spotlight. lol

I take back what I said earlier. I want control of the Spider-Man franchise, and away from Sony.

I would reinvent/reboot The Matrix franchise.

A whole new trilogy, with an entirely new cast of characters, and a new story. Explore all new philosophical ideas, create new innovative action sequences, and expand the universe like The Animatrix did, but take it to the next level.

It would not disregard the first trilogy, and it would be connected to it, but it would not depend on it or need to directly reference it in any way. So, it's technically The Matrix 4, 5, and 6, but you do not need to see 1-3 to understand what's going on.

We would follow the next One, maybe 100 years after Neo died, or some considerable time after 1-3 to make it as fresh and new as possible, with a totally blank, limitless canvas of ideas.

I would get an up-and-coming director who has showed serious talent in their debuts:

Shane Carruth (Primer, Upstream Color)
Rian Johnson (Looper, Brick, The Brothers Bloom)
Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code)

^ Maybe let them all collaborate, or let each one take one film of the trilogy, and just let them run wild. Put them in a think tank and let them map out the entire trilogy.

I would want to see novels, comics, an animated series, everything.

Basically, in 1999, The Matrix was hailed as "The Next Star Wars", and in 2003 it really had that chance... and it didn't quite nail the opportunity. I would make it what it was supposed to be, and have it in the big leagues with Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc. It's a franchise that has so much untapped potential, it depresses me that it's something that has come and gone. I want it to be here to stay.

Ya, I would of not made Neo such a dumbass like he was in these films, always clueless.
I would want to take over the Crow franchise, I wouldn't of changed much or anything to the first one, but would of went a total different direction on any sequels.
Next sequel; The Crow: Iris, always enjoyed the character and her story and especially her makeup. Would of had Jessica Biel play female crow, and maybe Josh Brolin or Michael Fassbender play her husband. Still use the bombing of her office building/her pregnant, but carried out by hubby. She tracks down all involved, but doesn't realize her hubby was master mind(due to her intense love for him, she was to blind to see).
Third one, used the Oriental story from comics(been long time, can't remember names etc..). Use Tony Jaa or Iko Uwais and Gareth Evans to direct, and maybe Russell Wong as main bad guy and use some of the guys from Raid movies(:woot:) or hell Jean Claude Van Damme as baddie :)

Hm, that's a hard question. I feel like running something like Star Wars would be a lot, and as much as I love Jurassic Park, the ideas are scarce for that.

I think I would take A Nightmare on Elm Street. First thing I'd do is boot the remake out and start over. As long as he could work, I'd bring Robert Englund back as Freddy. I'd want a trilogy, the first being a remake of the original, but changing things up, bringing new kills and maybe putting a more serious spin on kills from the latter films in the original series. I wouldn't try to clone Nancy (not that the remake Nancy had any personality like the original did.), but feature a lead actress with some different character traits, and different set of friends. .Possibly try the more outcast-type character, so no one really believes the things she says until other start dying and comparing stories and such.I think I'd have both of her parents be cops this time around, as they met through their profession and when the main character was little, were on the Kruger case, eventually joining the parents in burning Freddy. Freddy would get his child-killer origin back. None of the daycare stuff. The molestation can be implied, but I find it stupid that the parents burned Kruger for molesting their kids (I am a father, I would never want anything to happen to my kids, but the fact alone that all the parents banded together to burn him over it seems a little crazy to me, especially as no murder was involved.), and if Freddy isn't a killer already but comes back one.

The second film would be set three years later, and be a new version of Dream Warriors. New kids, new talents (for example the D & D kid would become a Skyrim player), and keep that serious tone with a little humor of the first. Undecided on if the lead girl would return, or if it'd feature a different returning character. Freddy would be lose a lot of his power near the end by them no longer fearing them, however using the possession powers originally exhibited in Elm street 2 and Freddy vs. Jason, he'd free himself from Elm Street, and use his remaining powers to begin spreading himself across all of Springwood.

The third would be a mix of new ideas and ones from the remaining films, but would likely be Freddy's Dead. Of course huge tone change from the original, but I'd be using the remaining Dream Warriors hunting for a way to stop Freddy, while meanwhile he's become extremely powerful while eliminating the rest of the Springwood children. No child of Freddy nonsense, nothing to do with only blood can kill blood. certainly no 3D weirdness. I do like the Dream Demon concept, but instead of coming to him like the original FD showed, I'd have Freddy spend about ten years in Hell, burning, and wandering the vast plains until finding a place where the Dream Demons were banished. They need blood, and fear to make them strong again, so they agree to give Freddy his revenge in exchange for feeding off the carnage he causes. Eventually it would come to finding some artifact that helped seal away the demons in ancient times, and once Freddy is pulled into reality, can remove the Dream Demons from him and he can be killed once and for all.

After that, if Robert Englund was still able, I'd do the prequel, The Elm Street Murders, leading to what makes Freddy into what he becomes. I'm not a fan of movies that kill kids because it is edgy, so I'd say any younger kids would bite it off screen, but we'd still likely have a few teenage characters who Freddy would chase down, leading to the his arrest and release due to a technicality, and then the parents ending him. If there's any one thing that both the Freddy's Nightmares TV series and Freddy vs. Jason got right, its the way Robert Englund played human Freddy. I probably wouldn't keep the ice cream truck or anything like that from the show, but that part in the beginning of Fvs.J with human Freddy is so creepy and well done.

Edit: Added details.

We should team up. :woot:

I'd like to give the Terminator franchise a shot god help them with the dude off Thor 2 as the director this time round.

Id' keep the events of the first two films as they were awesome then deviate course.

"Mighty Avengers": Luke Cage, Ronin/Blade, Falcon, Blue Marvel, White Tiger, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Shang Chi. Make this Marvel's answer to Fast & the Furious.

If I were given control of the Bond franchise, I'd think about rebooting and setting the series back in the 50's or 60's.

Great ideas. And introducing wolvie in the 2nd movie would be great. Get us used to the original x-men first before wolverine hogs the spotlight. lol

Exactly! I'm sick of Wolverine taking the spotlight, I wouldn't even utter his name till the second movie, you can make a great X-Men movie without Wolverine.

Second movie? I'd make a trilogy of the original 5 X-Men, then in X-Men 4 I'll adapt Giant-Sized X-Men #1 and introduce Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, and other new X-Men with the original X-Men as supporting characters. This new cast will have a trilogy of their own. Wolverine won't be hogging the spotlight until the 4th movie. :word:

My Justice League follow up is;

Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight (2014) directed by Joseph Kosinski.

Tom Cruise as Hal Jordan
Idris Elba as Jon Stewart
Emile Hirsch as Kyle Rayner
Sean Astin as Guy Gardner
Ving Rhames as Kilowog
Christopher Lee as Tomar-Re
Mark Strong as Sinestro

In the aftermath of JLA, Hal Jordan goes insane and kills everyone.

I allways liked the idea, but i don't think it should be done to the film series, would have people losing interest. I think they should do a TV series based on Ian Fleming's books though, just call it "007" and do something unforgetable.

LOL Never was anyone more destined to play that ridiculous part, you nailed it!:funny:

Ridiculous is just the word my friend. It would be cinema history's greatest troll job, hyped as a big sci-fi action movie starring Tom Cruise, only to feature him on a two hour psychotic murder spree.

I hear what you're saying, I hate that the current X-films are Wolverine fests and would love a trilogy featuring just the original 5, but my impatience couldn't wait to see guys like Colossus, Nightcrawler and Storm, especially if I knew they would be getting a decent representation this time around. Besides, just one movie featuring the original 5 would satisfy me at this point, we haven't even had a nod to it in the current X-films. Poor show.

This is a toughie. Naruto, Invincible (Image Comics), Jupiter's Legacy, Newuniversal, Black Panther, Wonder Woman... Lost in Space is sooo tempting, I would make it Star Trek meets Harry Potter, but I suspect it would come out like After Earth. That might be better as a TV show. Same with X-Men, as seen in my sig (shameless!).

One that I know I could do well would be: 3 Ninjas.

I would do it more as Harry Potter meets Naruto, where these three kids from a bond of brotherhood and get to be a family for a short while before it's snatched away by the ninja world, which they would explore, a world that lives in the shadows of the shadows of our own. They'd be involved with the CIA who would give them a front family that is pretty much the one from the original movies, though they'd grow a real bond. They'd still have the grandfather There'd be a traditional clan, a technological clan, a mystical clan, a plainclothes clan, and these things would be explored in a yearly franchise so we'd get to see these characters literally grow up over time. Deception and the destruction of innocence would be a big theme of the series, as would brotherhood, and the testing of those bonds.

Rocky would be the superego of the group, the calculating one, the lead, the expert, the hero. This is why him going rogue Sasuke style would be so tragic, I would want it to be one of the great cinematic tragedies, you see someone grow up, and they have a darkness in them, but then... well... yeah.

Colt would be the id of the group, the cool one, far more interested in being cool than anything else in the universe. He'd be the unique thinker, the rebel, the practical problem solver, the show off, the most dynamic charismatic personality. A little ADHD, but a better ninja for it. He'd get a race change, probably be Japanese, because we are pretty much running roughshod of Japanese culture, someone who represents that culture should be central.

Tum Tum here would be the girl here, still the youngest, but the balanced one, the ego, the most spiritual. As before, Tum Tum would be the soul of the team. She, by virtue of being youngest, would grow up the most over the course of the series. Tum Tum's food-addiction would be adapted into a more fish out of water amazement at all the foodstuffs available.

Other important cast would be "Grandpa Sensei" who would be the adoptive figure of their little brotherhood. There would be female supporting characters that eventually become love interests, a normal civilian girl they meet "Emily" as well as a traditional ninja girl, a sympathetic member of the enemy clan, y'know, daughter of the bad guy, stuff like that.

The forces they would run into, these different sects of the Ninja world, first being introduced to the traditional clan, and this conflict between CIA and Yakuza during the first film where they finally find a family, so to speak. Then from there they're faced with a Ninja Civil war between a gun toting set of Ninjas and a mystical arts set of Ninjas, each with their own priorities and moralities, with a specific rogue ninja being the overarching bad guy, until they discover his past and find out a different guy is the actual mastermind.

Get the fight trainers who trained Hit Girl (not whoever trained The Last Airbender crew) and go make a great new-ish franchise.

Got to be Halloween, Rob Zombie's Halloween was a mixed bag, unlike most I actually like the remake portion of the film, it has tonally a great vibe and Tyler Mane's Myers is genuinely terrifying. The first half however takes away the mystique if the character and instead offers up an explanation a to why he is like he is. The sequel goes into roots even further away from what I see a Halloween film as. It doesn't have any sort of vibe or feeling one would see associate with a Halloween movie (even 3 had it and that didn't have Myers). No film has ever made me angry except for this one, I walked out if the cinema hoping I'd never have to see Rob Zombie or his vision for Myers or any of my favourite horror properties again.

So if I could have rebooted Halloween back in 2007 or even now I would have made a simple Myers terrorises teens in Haddonfield again much like the original and I would bring Myers back in as the Shape. You could easily explain Myers back story within the film or at the start in a short prologue. Personally I would do away with the Sister angle, it worked as a plot twist in the original Halloween II but its been dragged out ever since. With Myers going after various relatives over the franchise. In the reboot I would maybe do it so it could be set up so the originals existed but we don't directly refer to them. This film should have no Loomis, no Brackett and have a new antagonist for Myers, maybe just even the new local town Sherriff. Best thing to do would be to do a trilogy of films and for the love of god actually release them on Halloween.

Predator 4.
Director Patrick Hughes

Chris Hemsworth
Sam Worthington
Liam Hemsworth
Jai Courtney
Sullivan Stapleton
Antony Starr
Temuera Morrison
and Manu Bennett

The hype for the film makes a big deal out of Chris Hemsworth and Sam Wothington teaming to take on the Predator. The major difference between this film and the others is that the team learns about what they're dealing with early on.

A hi-tech ASIS team is dispatched deep in the Australian outback to take down a Predator who is wreaking havoc on a secret military facility in mountainous terrain.

When the team find the facility, it's a complete abattoir, blood, offal and lime green predator blood smeared everywhere. Smack dab in the middle of all the bodies lies a fallen Predator. They bag him up, bag up his weapons and radio for extraction. However on further exploration, this facility has Predator corpses, weapons, it's OWLF. Gary Busey's peeps from Predator 2.

When da choppa gets there a blue ball of plasma materialises out of the rocks and blasts da choppa. There's another one on the loose.

Liam Hemsworth dies first, with the main driving force being Chris' thirst for revenge. The Predator they're fighting however is different, he's not showing up on any of the scans they developed to see them when they have their invisibility cloaks on, he's striking by getting up close and when he uses the shoulder cannon it's from locations too small to house a Predator.

The other guys die throughout the course of the film. Leaving Chris Hemsworth, Sam Worthington and Manu Bennett. The three set up an ambush back in the OWLF facility which finally traps the pred, with Chris Hemsworth sacrificing himself in the process. The Predator's body is some kind of full body armour suit, but two feet shorter than the typical Predator. But it's empty. The armour protected the inhabitant from the trap and they managed to escape in the process. Out of no where Sam Worthington gets killed.. by a human woman in a Predator mask. Bennett finally manages to fatally wound and unmask the Predator to reveal.... Isabelle (Alice Braga from Predators). She sets up her wrist bomb and smiles "I'm free". Bennett escapes the explosion and ascends from the facility, bruised and bloody. In the sky he looks up and sees a huge Predator mothership shooting fighter jets out of the sky. The war has begun.

I've already posted this, this is a re-post with some edits and a LOT more detail.

Mutants would still be like an urban legend, the kind of story you tell kids to scare them, although the government knows they are very real.

The movie would open in London with an unknown male being chased by an angry mob, next thing the crowd just stops and seem to be distracted by something the viewer can't see, we cut to Mastermind controlling the mob by creating an illusion to distract them, the male being chased is revealed to be Toad, we hear a voice from an unseen male saying "Are you ready to take your rightful place in this world?" Obviously it's Magneto.

We cut to a government defence briefing involving the president, government officials Bolivar Trask and Henry Gyrich are informing the president about the mutant problem, the president refuses to believe it, they show him video footage of a secret program called Weapon X, where they have been using mutants on covert operations, even experimenting on some. They mention this guy who can absorb energy then fire it right back at you,how they used to have a guy who shoots red beams from his eyes, and then they say "we've got this one guy, a Canadian, we literally cut this guy open every day, and the next days he's fully healed!" The president authorises precautions to be taken, we see drawings of Sentinels in the background.

Hank and Bobby attend the same school, Hank being roughly 17 and Bobby 15, Hank being the gentle giant he is, is quite popular in school although everyone talks behind his back about his huge gorilla like form,, he's a really nice guy and a genius, Bobby, a laid back, funny kind of loser, envies guys like Hank, he isn't to popular but is very confident, he's been unwell lately, he's always so cold and everything he touches turns to ice, his parents don't know what's going on, but they love their son, they keep his 'illness' quiet and let him stay home from school during this period.
The first time we see Professor X, he's visiting the Grey family, a married couple with a daughter named Jean who is 17, beautiful inside and out, Jean is in full control of her powers already and we find her using her telekinesis out in the garden, cut to a huge speech from Xavier about how he can help her use her powers for good, how he can help all gifted individuals, during this speech we see scenes of Jean using her power, Hank doing some pretty impossible gymnastics alone at the school gym after dark, Bobby is trying to focus his power in the garage at home, causing a mini blizzard, and then we get our first glimpse of Warren, he's in a fancy bedroom, dressed in jogging bottoms, he puts on a hoody, it's noticeable the back of the hoody is cut out, he puts it on in an awkward manner, he puts on a ski mask, when he turns we see this pair of amazing wings on his back, he jumps out the window and flies off into the night, the final cut scene would be Bobbys garage knee deep in snow with Bobby nowhere to be seen, we see some snow slowly start to stir, Bobby then stands up and we see him in his original snow form, he looks around then looks at his hands and himself, "YEAH!" is his only word. Xavier finishes his speech and asks Jean would she like to attend his school, she smiles and says "yes, it sounds lovely".

Jean and the Professor visit the Drakes and recruit Bobby and then recruit a reluctant Hank, the 4 then head to the mansion, the 3 teens are immediately impressed with the size of the mansion and are obviously excited, we now get our first glimpse of Cyclops, he's obviously just been working out, he greets the new students in a very serious manner, he's a sullen sort of guy with not much of a sense of humour, it is obvious he's attracted to Jean as soon as he sees her, the team are given a tour of the mansion and are briefed by Cyclops on 'what it means to be an X-Man', he's obviously a bit of a square, we get to see the Blackbird and Danger Room in the tour scene.

We cut to Magneto and the brotherhood, they're making bombs, Magneto keeps nit picking on everything Pietro does, constantly belittling him, every comment Magneto makes about 'Human scum', Pietro immediately agrees with, begging for his fathers approval, he never finds it. It becomes apparent Mastermind is quite scared of Magneto, as is Toad, although Toad is devoted to the Brotherhood as well, he's always been persecuted by 'normal people' due to his odd form, so he relishes a chance to teach Homo sapiens a lesson. They are all scared of Magneto, he angry and bitter, he dishes out a speech about the coming changes for Homo Superior he's holding a newspaper in his hand, he throws the newspaper on the table and we see an article about an upcoming public speech the president has planned.

Back at the mansion Scott and Jean are talking and there is an obvious attraction between the two, Scott tells her he and his younger brother were orphaned at a young age, his brother was always in foster care whereas Scott was in a children's home, believing this to be the fact he always had to wear dark sunglasses and didn't appear normal, he's starts to tell her about a section of the 'army' he joined when Professor X mentally tells the X-Men to prepare for their first mission, we then see our 4 X-Men in uniform.
They are on the way to try and recruit Warren, he's a hard man to approach in normal ways, he's heir to Worthington Industries, a multi billion dollar corporation. They have to try and catch him mid flight at night, he's initially reluctant, he can be awkward to talk to, he's a pampered, little bit snobbish kind of guy. He agrees to attend the school the next day to see what it's all about.

The next morning in Washington The president is addressing the nation with a speech about how the world is changing and how we as human beings should be ready, he can't actually say mutants exist, but he's readying the nation. Magneto and the Brotherhood are in Washington, during the speech Magneto reveals himself as a mutant, with a barrage of bullets fired at him by the presidents bodyguards and security, he stops every one, and drops the bullets to the floor. He reveals to the camera all about the existence of Weapon X and the manipulation of 'his people', he exclaims Homo sapiens are monsters, if Weapon X isn't shut down within 24 hours and the humans responsible for its existence put to death, he will set off a bomb in Washington and kill the President. Magneto knows his demand for death of weapon x personal isn't gonna happen and that Weapon X won't be shut down, he wants to stage an attack, he wants humans to hate mutants to help further his own cause, be easier to recruit new brotherhood members if everyone hates mutants.

Cut to the mansion with Professor X and now the full 5 X-Men are watching the events on tv. Here is where we reveal the backstory of Professor X and Magneto, how they were friends, and how 2 years earlier they planned to make a team to combat any mutant threats, Charles wants peace, whereas Magneto feels that mutants are the rightful heirs to the world. They learn of the weapon X program, the 2 of them along with Magnetos children, Wanda and Pietro stage an attack on the Weapon X facility, freeing many mutants in the process, (a nice chance to cameo some throwaway mutants) a lot of these mutants are angry and hysterical after being imprisoned for so long and go on a rampage, killing any weapon X worker they find, Charles finds Magneto joining in the killing spree, they have words, and Magneto sends a metal shard through Professor Xaviers spine, crippling him, claiming he knew this day would come, then Magneto leaves with his children and Mastermind who was a weapon X prisoner, Charles realizing he has made a powerful enemy and a huge mistake in coming here just lies on the floor, amidst the chaos we see a weapon X prisoner pick Charles up, put him on their shoulder and head for the exit, it's revealed to be Cyclops.

Professor X is wise to Magnetos plan, 24 hours later the brotherhood set off a bomb, killing a quite a few people and destroying some of Washington. The Presidents knee jerk reaction is to go ahead with 'Project Nimrod', The release of Sentinels to destroy the brotherhood. The president doesent realise that the Sentinels can't target specific mutants and will destroy any mutant it locates, the Sentinels kill a few random mutants before both the Brotherhood and X-Men arrive to combat them.
Mastermind is killed during the battle, not realising his illusions won't work on machines. Jean and the Professor use their minds to locate Trask, once they find him, they mind rape him to find out where the sentinel base is, Quicksilver is sent with a bomb to destroy the base ending the Sentinel threat, which he does.
Upon Quicksilvers return we find Magneto towering above a naked, quivering President, with a gun to his head being controlled by Magnetos power, Magneto is ranting and raving like a lunatic about mutant supremacy, he comes across really angrily insane. Toad seems to be enjoying the show, whereas Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver realise there is no going back from this, Quicksilver speeds past Magneto removing his helmet, if only Magneto would have been nicer to his son, cue psychic attack from Professor X. During the psychic attack, Quicksilver picks up Scarlet Witch and speeds away, Toad realising he's now stood alone, discreetly slips away, Magneto is unconscious and taken into custody.

Professor X comes to an understanding with the President and actually get secret funding from the government.

The movie would end with the X-Men going to the Savage Land to locate a powerful, potentially dangerous mutant located by Professor X using Cerebro. The X-Men are then attacked with a pinkish energy blast from an unseen force, the team ready for a new battle.

X2 begins with Professor X recruiting a new team to rescue the original X-Men, after he lost contact with them weeks ago, this new team being the second genesis team from the comic, Xavier realising recruiting just teenagers wasn't his best idea, recruits an age diverse team, Wolverine an aggressive, moody, alpha male who is God knows how old, we find him in a bar enjoying a quiet life, he tells Xavier about his time at the Weapon X program, and even though it ended badly, he misses the excitement of missions, he's in.Storm who is about 20, we find somewhere in Africa, she's slightly arrogant but her hearts in the right place, she's worshipped by her tribe because she brings rainfall during the dry season, she's worshipped as a God although she knows she's a mutant, she is very reluctant, it kind of fells like Xavier might have messed with her mind to agree to join the team. Banshee is a mid thirties Irish man with no direction in life, he's to laid back, nothing bothers him, he lives in a little village in Ireland and has nothing in his life but an ex-wife and a daughter who wants nothing to do with him, he joins no question asked. Nightcrawler a 19 year old is part of a German circus, he is playful and a bit of a religious fanatic an feels like he was meant for something greater, an offer of a spot on the X-Men could be his greater calling, he's in. Colossus, a 22 year old Russian, a very loyal gentleman, having seen the events of the last film on the news has been saving for a flight to New York, he wants to make his family proud, he volunteers for the team. Sunfire (in his late twenties) reluctantly joins the team and it feels like Xavier mind controlled him to join, he's angry and moody. Thunderbird, early thirties, an Apache is keen to make his tribe proud, he joins no problem, he's got quite the ego, believing himself better than the rest.

The team is briefed, given costumes and code names, and then sent to the Savage Land.

The unknowns responsible for the original teams capture are revealed to be Mr Sinister and the Marauders, Arclight, Sabretooth, Vertigo, Scalphunter, Harpoon and a reluctant Gambit. It's touched upon that Gambit is in Sinisters debt, and he's not there by personal choice. The rest of the Marauders are just evil jerks who love getting paid to be bad. Mr Sinister is a genius scientist.

The X-Men arrive at the Savage Land and begin exploring, Professor X has given them rough co-ordinate but they aren't exact as something is blocking his telepathy (Sinister and some pesky machine he's built), they encounter Gambit, Sabretooth and Harpoon, they are told to leave or die. When Wolverine and Sabretooth see and recognise each other all hell breaks loose, it becomes apparent they were both volunteers for the Weapon X program, although Sabretooth betrayed Wolverine and killed the woman he loved, then led Wolverine into the trap that caused the horrific adamantium bonding process, Sabretooth did this out of jealousy of Wolverine, probs tell this over a few flash backs. Both of them attack each other in a murderous frenzy, completely ignoring their mission, completely ignoring their teammates and they disappear off screen fighting, cut to Banshee saying to Nightcrawler "Knew something wasn't right about him"' cut to Harpoon saying to Gambit "Knew something wasn't right about him". In the confusion Gambit and Harpoon retreat.

We cut between scenes of the X-men exploring the Savage Land and encountering Marauders, and Wolverine and Sabretooth in a bloody never ending battle. This battle would take place the entire movie, with the rest of the films plot going on and the team finding the original X-Men, just every now and again cut back to them two still fighting, after like cut 4 to them it would just be funny, and at the final cut, just them two, exhausted, throwing half hearted punches at each other with heavy breaths. During the rest of the X-Mens battle with the Marauders, Thunderbird is killed by Harpoon and Scalphunter.

When the new X-Men find the original 5 they learn that Sinister has been genetically experimenting on them, augmenting their powers to see the potential, we find Beast now in his furry blue form, Angel has changed, his feathered wings now replaced with razor sharp metal ones, and Iceman has lost his snow form (that's how I'd portray him in X1 as a nod to the comics), with it now being replaced with an ice form. Cyclops and Jean are the only two who's appearance hasn't changed although sinister has been taking blood samples from them.

At this point Sinister makes his escape, abandoning The Marauders.

With both X-teams now together, The remaining Marauders are defeated, Gambit approaches the X-Men in a cheeky manner, throughout the film they suspect he's not like the other Marauders through their interactions, the X-Men learn from Gambit that Sinisters strings are pulled by a higher power, Apocalypse, and Apocalypse wants a new world order, one that is run by him.

The X-Men destroy all forms of transport owned by the Marauders and leave them stranded in the Savage Land, the X-Men plus a reformed Gambit head home, as they board the Blackbird they can hear a knocking on the jet coming from outside, they open the door to find Wolverine, covered in blood, costume tore to shreds, without a scratch on him, he's smoking a cigar and says " aren't you forgetting something?" Then hops on board.

Mid-credits cuts back to Sabretooth and Wolverine in the Savage Land, they're both just exhausted, both smoking cigars, and just sat there, they notice Sinisters jet in the sky, look at each other, and Sabretooth says "I think that's my ride", Wolverine nods and they both walk off in different directions.

X3 has all the X-Men from the Savage Land return to Xaviers to inform Professor X about Apocalypse, obviously Professor X already knows about Apocalypse because he's Professor X, so he's been busy recruiting more mutants for the impending battle, here we meet Shadowcat, Jubilee, Havok (Cyclops' brother), Cannonball, Multiple Man and Forge.

The Brotherhood has to step up to to fight alongside the X-men, Since the first film, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch have left the team, Toad, wanting to carry on the Brotherhood recruits a new team Blob, Avalanche, Pyro and a reluctant Rogue are new to the Brotherhood, under the guidance of Magneto, but he's supposed to be in a plastic prison somewhere, right? Well it ain't really Magneto, it's Mystique.

With these mutants coming to terms with having to work together, a mysterious mutant attacks them, a mutant with an M scar over his right eye, trying to kill Angel and Sunfire, the X-Men fend off this mutant who is revealed to be Bishop, he claims that "ArcAngel" and Sunfire serve Apocalypse, just then Angels and Sunfires eyes flash to white, they utter some phrase in an unknown language, attacks some X-Men then fly away escaping. Turns out Mr Sinisters experiments on Angel were more than just experiments, Sunfire was turned before he joined the X-Men, although neither mutant knew it we've just met Apocalypses first two Horsemen, Death and Famine.
Bishop tries to explain to the X-Men about Apocalypse and the coming battle, saying a little girl told him, out from the shadows steps Layla Miller, a mutant who just knows stuff.
(I wouldn't have Bishop as a time traveller, probably not even feature time travel at all in this series of movies)

Cut to Sinister in Egypt, Middle of the desert at a crumbling pyramid. He's talking to Apocalypse, beside Apocalypse is Gazer, his Horseman War.
Apocalypse is thanking him for rounding up "slaves" to be his Horsemen and assures Sinister a place in his new world. ArcAngel and Sunfire appear, Apocalypse claims he can now start his war, now that all his Horsmen are here, only then does Sinister realise he's been betrayed, his eyes flash to white he utters a phrase in an unknown language, he's Apocalypse newest slave, his Horseman Pestilence. (the Horsemen would be mindless slaves to Apocalypse, no emotion, no personality).

Our rag tag band of mutants back at Xaviers realise they could use Magnetos help in this, so they decide to break him out of his plastic prison, only a handful break him out, upon his return to Xaviers, Bishop immediately punches Magneto in the face, claiming he was in prison during Magnetos attack in X1, fellow inmates, aware that Bishop was a mutant, carve an M on his face. He's says it's Magnetos fault humans hate them, Magneto smiles.

The four Horsemen begin a campaign of terror, slaying anybody who gets in their way, each attacking from a different corner of the globe, the army are helpless and plan on nuking the attack sites, Professor puts a mind block on government officials world wide to prevent this, he's confident his X-Men can stop the Horsemen without nuking an entire area of innocent people, this causes a great strain on him, he's out of the battle.

The mutants split up into 5 different groups, 4 groups for the Horsemen, 1 group for Apocalypse.

The team facing Apocalypse would be Jean, Magneto, Wolverine, Pyro and Storm, the battle would be tough, with Jean eventually unwittingly unleashing the Phoenix Force onto Apocalypse, killing him, once he's dead the Phoenix force would subside with Jean regaining control of her body, and she just exclaims "What the hell was that!?".

Magneto discreetly escapes on his own, the separated brotherhood members do the same.
The movie ends with the X-Men back at Xaviers pondering what's next for mutants.

After much thought, I'm going to say Dragon Ball. The first film would see Raditz as the villain and Goku learning his true origins. More to come later when I have some time to elaborate.
