And lets take Peters off the list, since you can do ALL of them.
I think I would either want Phasing or Invisibility. Flight would be pretty great too.

Bending time and-a space!

Healing seems ideal, but what's the point if you feel pain anyway? Invincibility/immortality is much better...which Claire doesn't have, sadly.

Telekensis.

With Telekensis you can do the following;
Flying
Object movement
Control over the elements (Pyrokensis ala Pyro from Marvel, Wind control, so on and so forth)
Mind altering (telekentics can (if they know how) poke around in brains and alter their perception)
Invisiblity to people, but not objects like camera's and such.

And it goes on, and on, and on. Seriously, Telekenitics can do just about anything other people with super powers can.

Peter's, then I have them all :p

If you can be invisible to people, why couldn't you with cameras? Assuming you could bend photons and light waves around you into peoples' eyes, you could surely do the same with cameras.

I don't know if telekinesis could allow you to fly. Wouldn't that be like trying to pick yourself up? Maybe you could make other people fly though.

I think I'd prefer flight.

Telekenitics have always been able to move impossbily large items with just their mind, so they would logically be able to do it with themselves.

I'd love to have Hiro's power and travel to all the ancient times.

Hiro's power, if I can't have my own.

Also, technically limitless telekinesis is omnipotence, and you could, in theory, bend space and time with a large enough amount of telekinesis... if you limit telekinesis to objects you can conciously conceive of, it just gives you flight and remote superstrength, not manual telepathy (by physical brain input) and elemental control (moving air molecules one by one is something that human minds just aren't going to come up with on their own).

So yeah, if your TK isn't limited, you can do ANYTHING. Period. Not technically do anything not access a few different powers. You can do it all... bend light particles to do invisibility or illusions, or physically trigger others' brains to see the illusions or both. You could sit at home while an illusion of you does karate moves that you remember from Power Rangers on Sylar as you pull apart your stereo molecule by molecule and rematerialize it on the surface of the moon.

Telekinesis for me. "Moving things with my mind" will include myself (flight), and almost ANYTHING I touch, whether it's a feather, or an Abrams tank (pseudo-superstrength). Not to mention the more obvious ways of using such a power.

I take it you read The Physics of Superheros? Or maybe it was another book on real-life adaptions of some of the superhero powers, and it had a huge chapter on basically what you just summed up. I always thought that unlimited TK would kill it's user, which is why when anyone asks I tell em about the limited form I described.

Telekinesis. The OP asked which of the Heroes powers you'd take, so this super-unlimited-telekinesis is obviously off the table. Just good old regular telekinesis. Sylar was able to flip large vehicles, and I doubt it would take much more to levitate himself.

I'd like the flying thing and the super strength.

The power of persuasion. Or Micah's power.

to be honest i would kill for any of their powers they all have advantages u name a power i can find a everyday use and a way to be ammoral with it just a couple of the top of my head

claires power - fake my own death to freak out my friends
the haitians power - hollow out my boss
hiros power - freezetime to get more sleep
matts power - i could own any1 with card tricks

of those gotta be hiros power !!!

I doubt Hiros power works when he's incapacitated. It's not like time moves because he wants it to or anything.

michas'

pete's would be pretty useless without being around any of the others...

isn't someone supposed to have a copycat power, that would indeed come in very useful

On of the latests graphic novels showed flight to be a great power.

Peter does not have to be near them when he needs to use a power just needs to be near one time and the power is his forever.

well who in the real world has powers that you can just go and stand next to, hmm?

If Peter never met any other people with powers then he is just a man.

If that is what you are getting at. Their is a chance if you choose Peters power you will never be near a human with an ability to absorb. So it would suck. But their is also the chance that you will so 50 - 50 really.

Well more like 1% out of 100% that you would find a rare human that has a power. Unless you knew you had a sister, brother, father, mother, nan, grandad etc...

You would then assume that the odds are greater and go near them to see if they have a power. So I guess that increases the odds.

I like to have the Hulks power.
I want to get angry and go strong & turn green.
