I know some of you don't find Maddox's humour amusing. But I sure as hell do.
His over the top arrogance is hilarious. 99 percent of his articles may be exaggerated rants, but I find that theres always a shred of truth behind them.
I for one, can't wait to shake the hand of the man who has had me laughing so hard I was in tears many times.

Whether or not you like the guy, you have to admit that he was bright enough to make himself an Internet celebrity, aquire a book deal, and not "sell out" while doing it.

There isn't an ad on his website to this day

Tomorrow at 1pm. Borders - 100 Broadway, Manhattan

Here are some picture from his last signing, a few days ago

Maddox is an ass, why anyone thinks hes funny is beyond me. Hes like the Ann Coulter of the comedy world, only difference being that Maddox actually tries to be funny.

I've never understood why Maddox has become an "internet celebrity," if such a thing exists. The guy does nothing original, he *****es about things and points out their inherent flaws or foolishness. There's about 30,000 people on line that have been doing that forever. I dont understand the attraction to wanting to buy an entire book of that crap, and then listen to that pompous ass give a lecture.
As for him not "selling out," if he's got a book deal and is doing signings (which he's getting paid for) he's pretty much already "sold out." Good for him I guess, that he gets enough dopes to buy into it.

He looks exactly how I pictured he would. :(

Like he has to beg for sex like most of us.

"Hey baby, im Maddox, maybe youve heard of my website?"

"Ewww, get away from me."

That room would so be emptied if word got out that there was a woman there.

I read some of his stuff and while amusing I find it funnier that he was able to make a book based on his rants. Ah the evolution of an internet celebrity. Someone tell me when the Star Wars kid writes a book.

that's the whole point of not selling out

he has always stuck to his idea of no sponsors, no adds and no selling his space for comercial reasons

if you can manage to thrive without any corporate sponsorship, despite the fact that you have huge traffic, and get a deal with just your website to back you up, then you haven't sold out, you've made it

"sell out" is what people who don't know better point to whenever somebody else "makes it"

and as far as the other 30,000 other people waiting in line.... I don't see them having popular websites or book deals, so there you go

I never said I agreed with his views, or that I took them seriously... and honestly, you've got to be pretty stupid to take him seriously, or have no common sense

and yes, he is a role model indeed, to anyone who is stubborn enough to stick to their guns and go all the way through with their personal proyects, getting places, achieving things and not loosing your credibility in the process

Maddox is alright, but I don't see how some people can take him so seriously.

Well thats the sad thing isnt it? That people give him credibility.

Never heard of him in my life.

I absolutely adore Maddox and his work.
The man is an icon... and the voice for the disgruntled everywhere.
I wish I could meet him.
