Sing, 2016's 5th talking animal movie (I don't count Stork), will be released on December 21 2016 on Rogue One's second weekend. Staring the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Tori Kelly, Taron Egerton and Nick Kroll.

Already premiered at TIFF on Sep 11th and has got quite positive reviews so far; 8 Fresh out of 9 reviews, with all 3 Top Critics give it Fresh (though AR is 6.2)

Illumination Entertainment are on a role. They are getting to a point where they don't need Gru or the Minions to make money. You would think after the the initial success of American Idol there would have been an animated film about singing shows by now. Surprised Disney or Dreamworks did not think of this.
