I'm Corrupted...?

I was playing Left 4 Dead on xbox live earlier today and it froze...I switched the game off and when I turned it back on and went to sign in my profile was missing from the list...I went to the system and checked my memory...every file i ever had was corrupted...called 18004myxbox....they didnt help me at first and then finally gave me useful information....information i didnt wanna hear though...i had to delete every saved game that i played under my gamertag and then recover it...my friends list is back but no more saved games...so all in all its been a "what the?" moment...anyone else have this happen to them?

it was definitely a horrible day...i find out that my mri shows i need surgery on a torn ligament in my knee...but the worst news was easily my xbox
all my games...such as my beefed up rainbow six vegas 2 profile...and my tiger woods character with the game face...jeez...so many games i had...im too lazy to re build my profiles in all my games...its just depressing

I had that happen with my GBA. I had Megaman Battle Network 4 in, was about done with my second playthru. I left it on for a second to grab a drink, and my GBA slips off my table (honestly not sure how). It hits the ground and my game falls out of the GBA while it's on...which is pretty much an instant delete of all save data on a GBA game.
