The Dark Knight I'm losing faith in Nolan

I like. Very muchly.

Anyhow, I guess Nolan has passed my trust test. I did have my doubts before I watched BB - the trailers don't convey 1/10000th of the awesomeness of the movie, and I was over the first pictures of the Tumbler. But the film itself blew me away. It finally did the character the justice it had been due, and Nolan didn't suffer the "Bryan Singer syndrome" by completely running amok with a big budget movie. I think it's the lack of pretentiousness over the production of BB that really makes me trust in him. Nolan's just gonna do his job like he's always done, and not make a big deal over what he's doing. He's gonna keep it real.

honestly, i think this is gonna be the true test of whether or not nolan wants to be faithful to the comics, or just his own vision.

like jett said before, burton and schumachers batfilms were worse than their first, because they were too concerned with what they wanted rather than being faithful to the characters

^Although I completely loved Superman Returns, Singer did have a little to much to throw out there...But, Nolan is trustworthy in that he knows works and what doesn't.

People think if things aren't going the way they wanted them to do, everything is falling apart and the movie is going to suck.

Nolan has seen alot more of what Ledger can do than we have, so for that fact, I'll go with what he thinks is best for his vision of TDK.
