I always find it funny how posters on here talk about how all of these big budget, big franchise films are beneath a lot of these huge talented actors that join them, when they want to be a part of them in the first place because they thought it would be fun and don’t look down on or stick their nose up at it just because it’s not the high quality, auteur cinema they usually take part in.

I mean, sure, some actors are just in it for the paycheck, but some actors just genuinely want to be in those films because they really want to be, and the paycheck and notoriety is just a bonus for them.

But, yeah, Shawn Levy isn’t great.

This has never been a thing here. And it wouldn't make much sense. Everyone here is a fan of at least one big franchise.

The girl knows quality and knows what to avoid. Good for her. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this franchise until it proves itself on the big screen again.

I sure as hell am not trusting a something named "Shawn Levy"

Shawn Levy reminds me of when they rushed into Colin Trevorrow once Jurassic World made bank. Not someone who's going to have an interesting take on the material or bring something to the table. Just a guy who made money recently.

Maybe but it would have to be especially bad or uninteresting to get me to abandon watching a show completely mid-season & completely.

I've watched many shows before that have been going through a bad spell, at least in my opinion, in regards to entertaining episodes & sometimes even a full season that's been poor, but I've kept watching because they contained characters I like or they've previously had me interested in previous seasons.

It's the Shawn Levy of it all that has me saying good for her for sticking to her guns. I can't imagine a Star Wars movie of his being anything worthwhile.
