As someone whose ability to put food on my family’s table and shoes on their feet is directly related to the success of a corporate entity that I hold a 2.5% stake in, I believe this statement may be a bit of an oversimplification.
I get you. I'm one of those who feels like the amount of power corporations have in general has led us to a society that is completely out of whack. One where the vast majority are forced under the thumb of those corporations for the barest essentials. So even with some doing it right, it doesn't really change my general outlook.

It's low imo. I haven't seen showings near sold out near me since Spidey. Lilo has packed multiple showtimes.

It's so weird to me, because you'd think for a movie to have made all that money you'd see more memes, gifs, etc on social media to show how much of a mark it's leaving on pop culture.

Or maybe it is and I'm just not the audience for it. :sneeze:
