After FF, the only movie from Marvel I’ll be interested in is Black Panther 3 and the inevitable FF sequel.



The movie still underperformed and just because he’s arguably talented with The New Avengers, doesn’t mean he’s equipped to handle the new mutants.

But this is Feige’s new avatar so whatever.

The FF franchise, Black Panther 3, and Doctor Strange 3 are my MCU movies that have me at hello. So would a hypothetical Hulk sequel. The rest, I will watch them but I am not counting the days.

Oh, and Shang-Chi 2 is it ever happens

Coogler was never doing X-Men. He's finishing BP and doing more original stuff.

I see Jake getting X-Men as more Feige and the Russos are hiring someone that they can control. Not one who will offer a unique creative voice. Thunderbolts turned out great, but how much control did Jake actually have? That's what I would need to know to be more excited. Like the Russos made TWS and great MCU movies through Endgame, but their films after show me they got lucky with great scripts. With X-Men, I was at one point hoping we would get more of a creative vision. But it's been clear they're going safe as safe can be to me for a while

X-Men is going to be so micro managed, that I don't think it remotely matters if it's a white guy or a POC directing. The latter is never going to get carte blanche the way Coogler did, unless it was Coogler himself. Which I don't think he has interest in.

Yeah, it feels like that 2028 slate as of now is probably going to be BP3, Thor 5, FF2 and maybe Shang-Chi 2 or some other unknown movie they're working on. DS3 I think is coming in that July 2027 slot, hence why I didn't list it for 2028

We wouldn't have been trying for a Diet TWS vibe and Hulk isn't a political character, so probably less bad politics and we can actually have Betty in the movie. Yes, but a lot changes just by virtue of Hulk being the main instead of Sam. Also, now we don't need that dumb Sidewinder plot. Hulk can actually have multiple fights with Red Hulk now! Or maybe, even better idea. Leader uses that Banner blood, and we have the Seperpent Society in the movie and in the opening action sequence, they're just lame hench guys and the Hulk beats them easily. Then, the Leader turns them into snake themed abominations of science, and then Hulk fights them later and it's cool now...cause they're snake monsters with visual flare!
