Not happy with Scarlett Johansson. She’s a full Zionist who chose to resign as an Oxfam ambassador in 2014 because she wanted to continue working with SodaStream, knowing they were operating illegally in the West Bank. And she publicly supports Woody Allen

She is a terrible person. Come on, there are so many great actresses out there. Get Jessica Chastain

Chastain is always a great choice. :)

For whatever it may be worth, I feel like it was mostly her team that pushed her for this.

She seems desperate for a big comeback movie, and Jurassic World fell completely flat.

Sword's already heard all this at length so I apologize deeply lmao, but, my two cents:

The recent Marvel history is really ****ing with me. I've always liked how Batman in particular tends to attract actors who normally wouldn't do a superhero project, it feels more special that way, at least in my opinion. I didn't know much about her controversies until now, for whatever it's worth.

I guess it just depends on who she's playing?? She has the vibe for sure, I'm just regrettably caught up on an admittedly very silly hangup of mine.

If we get a Part III, I'm willing to bet that's where we'll see Selina return in a Hush-style reunion with Batman. Reeves implied that the next time we see her, they'll be on even more opposite sides.

If hypothetically the role was Andrea and they included some flashbacks it could be a bit of a nod to Godfather Part II as a sequel that expands the backstory (as well as MOTP obviously). The only thing is I'm just not sure if you can repeat the basic Phantasm arc. It could be part of some sort of amalgamated take on Hush maybe.

Given that Joker is in the mix and in Arkham, maybe Harley is another possibility? I also liked that flip in the Caped Crusader series where Harley was Bruce's shrink. Something funky like that would interesting to me but I doubt it. I just feel like we already covered the ground of "femme fatale who's out for revenge on the mob" with Selina's arc in The Batman and we've also already had serial killer taking out powerful people one by one with The Riddler. I think the only way another thing like that would make sense to me is if this time someone is taking out various people with ties to the CoO, which becomes the core of the central mystery of the film and digs deeper into Gotham's corruption like Reeves has said. I know it's not popular with some of you guys, don't mean to rehash the debate but just spitballin'.

I kind of agree. Scarjo feels a bit "off type" from the type of casting Reeves did in The Batman. Not super psyched on it, but open to the possibility of it being a great fit for a particular role.

Andrea Beaumont/Phantasm
Vicki Vale/Lady Arkham
Leslie Thompkins + side villain
Rachel Caspian + Reaper

Does Keoghan even come back for this? He’s shooting The Beatles for 14 months. They lucked out in casting him right before he became such an in-demand actor but he’s in so many projects now that it might be hard to get him back

I think he'll drop out only if they absolutely can't work his schedule out, and if his manager has half a brain, he'll fight to work it out until the bitter end, Joker is the role of a lifetime, certainly more than Ringo Starr.

I've already decided that Reeves can recast Jesse Plemons in the role so we're good there.

Andrea Beaumont returning to Gotham to infiltrate the Count, then hunting them down as Phantasm (or Talon) in vengeance for her father’s murder could be a good follow-up story; and it would serve as a parallel to Bruce’s arc—just the “what-if” darker path.

Throw in Harvey Dent & Lincoln March as red herrings
