If all you're planning to do is play games off discs with your 360, then 4 GB is fine. You don't have to install any games off the disc like the newer consoles, it's an optional thing. If you plan to download any games offline, however, you will need bigger. That's the short and simple of that.

As far as Scarface and Godfather, I haven't played either.

I've decided no Wii U for me - as the youtube app is really appealing for Xbox and PS3.

Now its between 360 vs. PS3....

And yes, I've been reading every single reply. I checked Target and XBox 360 is at 180. I believe the PS3 is at 200 (for 500 GB).

well, you can't go wrong with either the PS3 or 360. just have to ask yourself which has more games that appeal to you, especially the exclusives for each system.

if you can get a 500GB PS3 for $200, I'd say that's pretty good. That will let you play PS3 and PS1 games. then, if you can find a used PS2 at a good price, say $60-$70, you can get that if you want for all your PS2 games.

It's not a backward compatibility, they updated the visuals a bit and ported some of the games to PS3.

No. I've always said that the PS3 is BC with PS1 games.

It's just that only old fat models of the PS3 are also BC with PS2. Newer PS3 models aren't PS2 BC.

For the most part PS1 Classics are $6 and $10 and PS2 Classics are $10. There may be some exceptions in there

Incorrect. As mentioned, the PS3 can play PS1 games. The system upscales them and there are limited options to improve the visual quality. Nothing major but it helps

There's no point in bringing up the PS4 or Xbox One in this conversation. Guy isn't asking about current gen hardware. He mentioned that he may have interest in current gen games later on, but for now the question is about the Wii U or PS3 (or now more about 360 and PS3). He's not asking about current hardware.

Wow - never knew the library for downloading games - and they are cheaper than buying a used disc. There is DEF some games Im interested in. I really never knew this about PS3 about downloading older games.

PS1 - Crash Bandicoot, Street Fighter Alpha 1-3
PS2 - SW ROTS, SW Starfighter, SW Bounty Hunter

PS1 games are $5.99, with the occasional title that's $9.99. PS2 games are all $9.99, I believe. I don't think they have any of the Star Wars games currently to download, though, you'll have to check the list Havok posted.
