I'm wondering if this movie's gonna just take place in a single neighborhood.

This grounded FF with disabilities in the real world, on top of keeping everything completely under wraps. The only "set photos" we saw are Reed and Sue with school books and earbuds. So that makes me think the film itself will be pretty self contained. So get ready for a movie about super powered teens, where Vic the rich kid from school is eyeing up their youth center so he can tear it down and replace it with a strip mall.

And the only thing that can stop him is a superpowered--I mean, "handicapable," race down the K13!

Exciting!

Based on the lack of footage, concept art and set photos, that synopsis may actually be accurate. The main problem with this reboot is that nobody knows anything about it. For whatever reason, Fox isn't doing any promotion at all, which doesn't inspire confidence. Moves like shutting down Josh Trank's Twitter also rub me the wrong way. It's almost like Fox wants us to forget that they're even releasing this at all.

^ Agreed with most of your post, just not the shutting down of the twitter. Tht was probably because of the abuise he was receiving

Or everytime someone get's interviewed about the movie, we get a different answer as to what it's going to be.

It's Schrödinger's movie! For being a story about scientists, that's very meta of them. Well done, Fox.

I like your comment, and it's true, the movie is both dead and alive in Fox sandbox !

Yes that is something to be concern of, but this isn't surprising, since I always find Fox's marketing strategy questionable even for X-Men: DOFP. Anyway, I hope they will soon start doing some online campaign like a Twitter account, YouTube account, official site, Tumblr account and a viral site for Fantastic Four. They don't need big money for those.
