The local Imax theater here as every date sold out for the last week. I was hoping to see it this weekend again so I guess I won't be able to now.

Anyone else having issues at Imax's around the country.

P.S. there is one other imax near me, but It's more like IMax lite, in that the screen isn't nearly as big as the other location.

I live in the UK, and the Waterloo IMAX is fully booked until next week I think

I don't know about the weekday shows, but the weekend shows in NYC are still sold out this week.

I have seen weekday shows sold out hours ahead of time. Usually about 3 a day.
IMAX sells out early in the morning for me.

even the ones that aren't fully booked you can't get a decent seat, its madness!

got my tickets for tonight though, 11:30pm

The IMAX in Buford, GA (about 40 miles north of Atlanta) has sold out every single show since midnight on Thursday (including 3 am and 6 am Friday shows) and is still sold out, with the first available show tomorrow night at 1:30 am. And I'm sure that will be sold out by tonight. This is freaking nuts.

I saw it the first time in IMAX (6 am), and have wanted to again, but I've had to see it twice in the regular theater because IMAX is booked solid. Crazy, man. Crazy.

I wish I can see this in IMAX, because Nolan shot many scenes in IMAX camera and they will look fantastic in this format. But it was due to my in-law's willingness to babysit that I got to see TDK with my wife, and I doubt I can get another opportunity to see it again. That sux.

Going to the San Francisco Metreon tonight to see it on IMAX. Also completely sold out.

I need to see it in IMAX again because I saw it at the 3:30am showing Friday in San Diego and with 30 minutes left in the movie the IMAX projector 'broke'. Which was bull because they let the 6:00 am people in to see the movie. All we got was a re admittance voucher. Total B.S.

I will never see another movie in my IMAX again since they told me as The Dark Knight was starting up..."This isn't an IMAX movie so it'll be like watching a regular DVD on your T.V." The guy next to me, who I didn't think had a clue, said "I thought they shot like 4-5 scenes in IMAX?" I said "They did."

My local Imax showings for tonight are sold out. Every show for tomorrow is still available, though.

I want to see TDK when the IMAX theatre in Reading Pa is finished.

The evening shows have been sold out at both Imaxes near me since the movie came out, and are through this weekend. There are usually tickets available to afternoon showings, however.

They said on CNN that the NYC IMAX was completely sold out till 2:30 am Wednesday (yesterday) morning!

I was fortunate enough to pre-order tickets for the IMAX in Charlotte, NC and saw it this past Sunday. There are openings the day before usually but everything becomes sold out by the days end. The 7:45 showings are all sold out for the rest of this week.

Just checked and this Saturday is completely sold out as well.

I did not expect this.

this is nuts, Im glad Ive seen it in IMAX atleast once already!

Same here. I was planning on going with a friend the day before I actually did go. The tickets sold out so quickly and I didn't get mine it time. There was already a huge line when I arrived to see it and I got seats near the front, so my neck was sore at the end. I'd like to go back and sit further back, see if thats any better.

I have the same comments as most, that the city shots in the IMAX camera are breathtaking. I grabbed my fiancees hand as it panned over the city a few times. Felt like I was falling.

In Toronto and the surrounding area it's sold out for the evening shows all weekend. That hurts my plan of seeing it again in IMAX.

How is this B.S.? It's too bad they had problems at the end of your show, what do you expect? They gave you passes to see the movie again, they fixed the projector in time to start the next show. It sounds like the theater did a good job recovering from a very big problem.

I went today and it was sold out so I bought me a ticket for tomorrow Tuesday, I understand when fans flock to a movie but this is overkill, how can anyone pay $12.50 for a movie the way the economy is?

Yes...Still sold out after one week, up here in Toronto.

the Palladium in San Antonio has been sold out like a mofo! I went Sunday night... and I was lucky to get there at around 5 and got tickets for the 845 VIP show where they serve beer and other alcoholic beverages... when I arrived at 8 the movie was sold out and the line to get in was long as ****... but i was able to get a good seat.. it was AWESOME in the IMAX format.. it was the 3rd time I saw it first time in IMAX...

London IMAX is fully booked until 11th August, and showings after that are packed! It's insane. So glad I booked mine 3 weeks before it came out :P

Same here in Australia. I'm surprised actually, but I'm glad this movie is doing so well. It deserves it.

I'm seeing it for a 3rd time in IMAX tonight and I have to buy them at some point today because they have still been selling out hours before show time. I'm definitely excited to see it again!
