Now that pretty much we've all seen TDK at least once or twice and some of the Hype is starting to die down...Do you think it lived up to it?

yes deffinatly. in some case i thought it exceeded the hype, i knew from clips that the joker was going to be legendary and that heath would of done a superb job. but seriously he completely dissapeard into the character, if the joker was uncredited and no one KNEW it was heath ledger there is no way you would recognise him.

Live up to it? Personally, I think it kicked the crap out of it...

I mean over $200 million in 5 DAYS?

Expectations were exceeded...definately.

Yes. I've seen it 3 times and it gets better with each viewing. I'm SO pumped for a 3rd movie.

It took the hype and stuck a boot where the sun don't shine.

It's Funny, even in the shot of Joker sans Makeup and you can cleary see Heath...it STILL screams Joker.

Hell yes.:brucebat: Little hard to enjoy with a lot of people nitpicking the movie, but I believe it lived up to the hype and then some. I'm ready for part 3.

It exceeded the hype. It was everything I could have realistically hoped for.

Yes. But fans will still be complaining about it in two years after it is no longer new and has been nitpicked to hell and back. That will be sad to see.

I've seen it 2 times now... I'll be seeing it for the third time with a bunch of my friends tomorrow night!... and I know I'll propably go for a fourth viewing as well!

This movie lived up to the HIGH expectations, AND exceeded them by far!! This is one movie you can't ditch! So near perfection that it's frightening! BEST sequel ever!!! oh, and IMHO BEST movie ever made! period!

Agreed, amazing how people won't just allow themselves to enjoy something. Oh well, their loss.

Yes it was. When you create such a hype over a super-hero movie, you fear it is doomed already but TDK proved otherwise, over-hyping a movie doesn't necessarily means a weak product. The movie was all that I hoped, except that it wasn't longer :csad:.

It exceeded what I was even expecting.

Still too soon to tell for me. I've seen it once... and now i'm going to watch it in Imax in 3 hours time so maybe I'll be able to give a better answer then.

I have to watch it a second time but I doubt it won't be as good or even better than the first one.

It sure did...but I have to go watch it again, since I must have missed a few key moments in the movie. That you guys keep bringing them up...like the six/ten....:wow:

It's almost a sad fact that as Good as this movie is, as true as it is to the characterations of the comics, People are still *itching over anything they can find.

Just shows fanboys will never be truly happy.

Still too early for me to tell. I loved Begins the moment I loved the cinema, but TDK came apart for me in the third act with the sonar... I need to see it again; but I think we'lll gauge its true greatness in the months to come. But a very good film to be sure.

Yes, I think it lives up to the hype, esp. Heath's performance as Joker. Every actor gave a solid performance, but Heath really knock this one out of the park. This is why the next movie will probably feel like a letdown, because how can you one-upped Joker?

This movie actually surpassed my expectations, so yes it lived up to the hype
