In Her Name - This needs to be a movie

So, I recently started reading the book series In Her Name: First Contact and it is a fantastic book, the rest of the series sounds just as good. As I was reading it I couldn’t help but think this would make an amazing film trilogy. Anyone read it and agree? It would certainly be a film in the same “mood” as Aliens or Prometheus, but on a larger scale.
