In Lieu of Justice League: Mortal

I'm thinking that WB/DC have made the decision to make Smallville the primary vehicle for live action DCU. We'll still get movie franchises, but I believe we'll see the rest of the DCU in Smallville going forward into Season 10. With the JSA, Amanda Waller, Checkmate, Suicide Squad, and the announcement of Maxwell Lord, and the possibility of Apokolips, are we getting full on DCU, Smallvillized? It'd be great if that's the case and I could even deal with Clark not going full fledged Supersuit. What think the masses?

You may be right - at one time they were super strict on what Smallville could use now it seems like almost anything is fair game.

Id like to see them do a full on Justice League movie branching off of Smallville but they would have to really amp it up if they expected it to stand against other hollywood comic book movies.

yea that has been an issue through the years there was many many things they couldnt have or couldnt due to restrictions and blocks. Now alot of them are gone, but there is still certain ones in place blocking some things. As for a more super suit there has been talks of a new look coming but yea full on classic superman suit is likely going to be left for last episode.

Welll we got the Flash in the form of Bart Allen and was called the Flash in the comic books at a point(although he's called Impulse by Green Arrow) who a combo of Barry,Wally and Bart(similar to DCAU Wally West, Live action Barry Allen, the Pilot Barry Allen and The Batman Barry Allen) so I'm okay with that(just waiting for more people to call him Flash like that picture in Silletto, we got alot of Batman(we red about Gotham in season 6) and Wonder Woman(amazon queen talking to Pope,Lois wearing a Wonder Woman costume) references(and not every JLA has Batman, Wonder Woman or Superman in it), Green Lantern(my favorite 3 is Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner and John Stewert) can't appear but I hope 1 appear or is mentioned in the future(mostly Hal Jordan)

well you got to see even though we dont have the big gun guys they still do alot of cool stuff with what they got. Sure it would be great if we could have batman/wonderwoman a full on green latern. But we still got some good characters in the show. Plus like the comics there has been many different formations of the jl so smallville is just another take on the group.

there was interview with peterson a few months ago saying that by the end of the season clark may be creating a new outfit, and it would have a little color in it. Now i am hoping it does end up being a more costume outfit in line to the jl outfits and not just the current getup in red and blue(though i am sure it will probably be that).
