If Webb (and Co.) are serious about "thinking bigger" than Mapping Out A Massive Spider-Man Universe. Obviously that means many things for the series. If he is truly "reaching for the stars and casting his version of The Avengers" then Sinister Six sounds like a serious possibility.

SO then, who will make up Webb's Sinister Six? Keeping in mind that the original was comprised of:

Doc Ock
Electro
Mysterio
Kraven
Sandman
and Vulture

And that both Lizard and Green Goblin originally opted out. That being said, who's on the roster for your dream Sinister Six film?

If it's a sinister six in the third film that Norman brings together:

1. Green Goblin
2. Lizard
3. Electro
4. Rhino
5. Sandman
6. Doc Ock

Sandman and Doc Ock don't seem like they'd need a lot of build-up because we've basically already seen Sandman's classic origins and somewhat Doc Ock's.

Also this is saying if it's just a trilogy.

Which I'm hoping against. Mostly because "bigger" and "universe" say to me, that three films ain't enough room.

If it were any question, I love that show. That line-up worked great in the context of the show.

My only problem with that line up is that it A. doesnt include Kraven or Mysterio. ;) and B. Shocker and Electro have certain similarities.

and perhaps C. Sandman was already used in Raimi's but... that bothers me very, very little.

Doc Ock is a must for the leader of the Sinister Six. They're his team. His baby.

What similarities? One uses Electricity, the other one uses vibrations for high-pressure air blasts.

The name for one. Physical stature for another. Physical threat against Spidey for yet another. They provide almost the same dynamic against the wall-crawler in battle. They shoot stuff at him and he has trouble getting close to them (depending on the incarnation of Shocker).

Where as Mysterio adds illusion, Kraven adds fighting skills (as opposed to Rhino's raw power)

Its a personal opinion, that's all. Electro or Shocker. Not both.

Loved TSSM. I'd like to see that Sinister Six but replace Ock with Mysterio. I want Ock to be the Master Planner with him picking six.

Electro
Rhino
Shocker
Mysterio
Sandman
Vulture

I think Sinister Six is thinking too small as well. That just plays into a Spider-Man universe. "Think bigger" than a Spider-Man Universe implies that it will be bigger than a Spider-Man universe...take that how you will. Might be a bit too optimistic and Webb could just be speaking in hyperbole but that makes more sense to me than a S6 being bigger than a Spidey universe.

Could we get solo films for individual villains perhaps?

Yes, but we've never seen something like that in a Spider-Man movie before. Its big. Six villains teaming up against Spider-Man?

Have The Sinister Six show up in TASM4.Have Green Goblin in TASM3 with another villain. Then have Harry take up the Goblin persona, but as Hobgoblin.Have Harry break the villains out of prison.

1.Lizard
2.Electro
3.R.H.I.N.O.
4.Hobgoblin
5.Mysterio
6.Sandman

Electro
Lizard
Green Goblin
Rhino
Mysterio
Vulture

Goblin as the leader

It doesn't make sense in the context of what Marc said, to me.

Electro
Rhino
Shocker
Mysterio
Doc Ock
Vulture

Vulture could actually be badass, his potential is underrated

Doc Ock and the Goblin would not work well together at all.

1.) Doc Ock
2.) Electro
3.) Vulture
4.) Rhino
5.) Shocker
6.) Mysterio

(I would give Sandman that last slot, but he is a tough villain to introduce without explaining... And he's gotten a full film, let's give Mysterio a shot).

^Which begs the question, is it possible to effectively show the Sinister Six in the two remaining movies of the trilogy?
