Rewatched Infinity War yesterday, taking note of quite a few lines and scenes involving Vision.

It was indicated (or implied) several times throughout the film that Vision is a mixture of Stark, Banner, Ultron, Jarvis and the Mind Stone, the latter of which obviously isn't with him anymore. His body however, post snap, is still there, and he's in Wakanda no less.

Now I'm wondering whether he'll be a player in the sequel; if there's one nation that can (somewhat) reconstruct him, it's Wakanda, and with the minds of Stark, Banner and Shuri, I'm wondering whether it'll actually be possible for them to reassemble Vision in some form or other? He's still a relatively new character in the MCU, and I'm not quite sure they'd want to write him out just yet.

I'd think it safe to say that once the sequel is done and dusted, the infinity stones aren't going to be featured, and if Vision is to remain within the MCU, he's going to need a new power source; maybe one of Vibranium origin?

Could we see him before all these supposed time travel shenanigans?

However they want to write it, I really want to see more of him. He was introduced in AoU, had a bit part in CW and then died in IW. Would have loved for him to get a big role in a couple of films without it being his introduction or death film.

I think they're going to bring him back sans stone. I just watched IW and there was a lot of focus on Shuri explaining how she could separate him from the stone and then when Corvus interrupted her work, it definitely looked as though she completed it and swiped it to save her progress before defending herself. So I think she'll bring him back - in some capacity at least - for A4.

EDIT - they also kept his body. They could easily have just had his body explode when the stone was taken but they kept it for a reason.

Maybe she can build him a replacement yellow stone that emits a beam to keep the fans happy lol.

Most people assume that he will be something like the "White Vision" from the comics, where he was rebuilt without his original brain patterns, drained of all color and had no emotional connection to any of his memories or his love for Wanda.

Apart from all the references to Shuri rebuilding him without the stone, his body was drained of color when Thanos ripped out the stone, which seems like a direct shout-out.

I think he's 100% alive. (The Shuri moment is much clearer on home video vs in cinema. When you play it slowly, she definitely finishes something and clearly saves/backups before fighting Corvus glaive) however, I don't know if he'll be alive at the start of the film or not. Maybe he could be a mid film revival. Stark and Shuri working together in Wakanda to bring him back

Oh nice. I'm going to pay more attention to this part next time I watch it.

That was my 1st thought too. He will be brought back, but he will be very different. Any emotions he showed previously will be 100% gone. He will have as much emotion as Jarvis had.
Which, in my opinion, is totally fine. After IW, I like Vision a lot less.
I am a big fan of Comic Vision. I am a big fan of Jarvis. I get why they wanted to weaken Vision in IW, but it really ruined him for me. The whole damsel in distress thing was too much.
So I am 100% looking forward to a walking, talking Jarvis.

That sounds good to me if they are going for that.

I think they are going to adapt Tom King's Vision as a mini-series.

I think Vision will be revived without emotions but WITH memories of the emotions he once felt, so it is akin to losing a limb; gone yet knows it should be there.
Before leaving him, Wanda gives him her brain patterns.

(Let's say Wanda's series introduces Agatha Harkness and Wundagore (and Everbloom, of course).

As such, those memories haunt him and he seems to do so by building a family, using the brain patterns Wanda gave him.

Could be a very interesting route to take.
