Don't freak out too much, NR haven’t issued any release information on this title, though with MK11 recently released, it stands to season that Injustice 3 will be next on their agenda, and I like to get creative and so I thought I’d open up a harmless discussion.
Injustice 2 had 38 characters in total (including DLC), though MK11 seems to have 32 (once all the DLC has been released). On that basis alone, I’m sticking with 38 for a prediction roster.
Starting with the roster predictions, some of which are simply preferences of mine, rather than likely additions...
Returning from Injustice 2:
Neither Darkseid or Brainiac are a threat no longer, so the villains would be Regime Superman as standard, but the larger threat being from Krona, with some alliance between Circe and Neron going on in the background.
The likes of King Shark has connections to both Flash and Aquaman, and I figure Black Manta could be connected some way to Neron (per a comic storyline).
Azreal would replace the need for a Robin/Nightwing, Judge Dredd would replace Red Skull. There’s a few other additions like Weather Wizard and Mirror Master that could have some unique abilities.
