Yes it wasnt a great story but it was entertaining so we are expecting things to make sence for the injustice story mode to work.

It's an amazing story if you know the original, before Raiden altered the timeline.

Well after playing the mk story mode we have high expectation for injustice.

But I mostly agree with you this is a fighting game and when it comes to arcade/ladder mode I really dont need an explanation on why batman can punch superman.

Fair enough. I saw people were complaining that Batman could hit Solomon Grundy through the wall and the buildings and to the rooftop. While I don't think they would need any explanations for that I'm sure people would cry foul. To me, its just a game.

for games, I don't really care for a reason as to why the characters are fighting each other or why they are able to stand on equal footing.

I just want to fight as my favorite character(s) and beat the crap out of my opponents.....lol

but Im positive boon said that batman wont be able to punch characters through brick walls without the aid of gadgets in the final game. The trailer and demo are from an early build.

MK is by far my fav vg franchise since I was 9 years old. I know the story of the original trilogy. And I loved every minute of the mk9 story mode.

No I don't think so . (ok originally he coudn't, now he can since the new 52, thing's are flip flopping.) The only thing that he had going for him (formerly)of late is that recent thing with atlantian magic and what he has with that was formerly his special prosthetic wrist/ hand. (since the new 52 the latter's gone) And the trident is a cool weapon, that's been shown to be cool, but they make him loose it too often.

I think its possible. Cos during one of the amalgam universe, he tried to telepathically control Namor.
But then again Namor is half fish, so....

lol Namor's like him, but with something extra being a mutant and all. that woudln't have worked any way cause namor's has two thing's that will stop that his arrogance and stubbornness. he hates being controlled. And that version of Aqua man which I think was earth 1 wasn't that good with telepathy like Martianman hunter was and it's been stated when Aquaman call's on the sea life for help he literally has to ask, not demand it , or the sea life will disrespect him and not help him one way or the other. So him doing that to other super powered being's including those that are psi sensitive or resistant wouldn't work.

if Aquaman makes it in, I think his trident will be a major part of his gameplay.

can Aquaman actually control water? or just sea life?

if it's just sea life, then I can see how his powerset would be limited. in that case, he'd have to depend on his trident for attacks.

if he can control water, then I can see some water-based attacks added to the mix.

when he has his magic set abilitys he can control water and little bit more. I don't know much about the new 52 version yet. that's why I'm so dodgy on this Right now. I'm not fully sure if he has all of his / and what abilitys he has and which ones were dropped..

I'd imagine for a fighting game, they'd prob give him his magic/water abilities.

otherwise, I'd think he'd be very limited. summoning sea creatures as his special attacks would not be that appealing, imo.

now, for his super or whatever they're calling the big, flashy attacks, I could see him calling on a shark or whale or something.........

but for regular special attack, I'd see him more using his trident and water powers......

Your gonna have to take on others including Nathan in Boons possible Tournament on what sea creature Aqua man should use then, if you want that. Cause a lot of people want different Sea creatures. Giant killer wail's, Giant fish . And Nathan want's a great white shark. good luck, keep away from Dark alleys . Nathan's a Scrapper. lol

For Aquaman just stick with the basics like Geoff John's new book. Nothing new, a trident, plus his super strength, plus without the resistance and pressure he'd be a fast combo character. Mental powers can work on humans, I remember he caused some guy to have seizure in in JLA comic (Morrison's run I believe). The trident is pretty sweet too. Trident, mental powers, super strength, enhanced speed (not flash like). Super he stabs to you and throws you around with holds the trident upwards with you on it, fires a energy blast sending you skyward, opponent falls back down on trident, Aquaman holds trident outward and fires it again sending the opponent flying away on the ground. Also he would have some Atlantean technology or other magic artifact he could use. Or open a water portal and let whatever sea creature have at the opponent. Plus the new 52 Aquaman uses a chain linked trident so that could a scorpion like attack. Really Aquaman could and should straight up own.
