Deathstroke dosen’t just hate Nightwing, but the entire cast of the New Teen Titans.

Upon Grant's death, Slade bitterly swore to fulfill his son's contract and kill the Teen Titans in his stead. Soon however, Deathstroke found the task too much to fulfill on his own, and so employed Tara Markov, a young girl with dangerous earth-bending powers.

This is what caused the Judas Contract. Plus Dick became Nightwing because he thought he outgrew Batman and wanted to find himself. The name Nightwing came from Kryptonian folk lore. During the Judas Contract arc he was attacked by Deaths troke, but escaped. He took on the role as Nightwing to save his fellow Titans. Death stroke wasn’t the only reason why he became Nightwing, sure he was the final factor but not the only.

Slade has hated and done other things to the Titans.

Starfire - Slade hated her because she killed his wife Adeline Kane
Raven - In the Geoffs Johns run on the Titans he hunted down Raven. And in the cartoon Deathstroke really posed a threat to her in season 3.
Donna - He tried to kill her son. (I know it was for the better, but he still tried)
Beastboy – Beastboy hated him for what he put Terra through.
Ravager – Brain washed her.

Deathstroke still wreaked havoc on the Titans even after Dick lefted the team. I do consider him as Nightwings villain, but if he’s Nightwing’s arch nemesis then he’s also a nemesis to the other Titan members.

That is all fine and true and I won't argue these points cause , yeah they did happen, and that is indeed the case. though it seems he real doesn't have any thing against raven other then she's associated cause she's a member.

But I think cause there are two events where Nightwing is still taking what happend at blud haven out on him and the fact death stroke went after Damien Wayne and Night wing took it out his anger on him for that (cause he was Damian's guardian/ father figure at the time ) and added his anger over bludheaven yet again along with it, the writers seem to make it look like it is mostly about night wing. Cause he's getting back at him over his(death strokes) own family. But then again that's still part of his own doing he's like a evil captain America mixed with "Norman Osborn" more so on the latter. He seems to take it more personally that some younger hero that's around the age of his born son.child defies him like how Norman Osborn acts when he's around spidey and cyclops he really just blows a fuse with those two more so then anyone his age range .

oh there was that stunt he tried to pull on Arsenal after his(same character ) daughter Lian alleged death. some how even if it was to hurt a titan member cause death stroke hates them in general he knows those two are best buddies cause they've shown them selves to be so since they were the first gen titans. he only dropped it cause arsenal was in pain already over his kid being possibly dead/ actually missing .

Im not too sure that Deathstroke is a pretty much confirmed character. They might pick someone else instead of him. He hasn't been getting much demand lately.

There hasn't been a huge demand for Deathstroke because he's basically confirmed. He's one of DC's biggest villains, hell I'd say he's the most recognizable after the Bat villains & Lex, there's no way he won't be in.
