have they mentioned who the DLC characters are? I just got an email from GS about a season pass for 4. I wouldnt pay for that not knowing who's available in advance

Well some guy did say that he would gladly work 6 months for DLC characters. I'm sure the 4 will be Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Power Girl, and Black Canary since they are the four most requested characters.

Although i would like if they had DLC character packs like.......

I love mk9 but it's pretty unbalanced I think, high level players always use the same handful of characters (kabal, cyrax, cage, and a few more) and leave the rest because competitively its clear who by far the top characters in the game are IMO that's not balanced. And let's not jump the gun on injustice and say the roster is equally balanced because its smaller, only time and playing can tell if that's really the case, but I bet it'll have some characters that are much better then the rest of the cast and get used over and over in tourneys like with mk9

Yeah, but that happens in literally every fighting game ever. There are always top tier characters that are better than everyone, and mid tier and low tier (Sheeva lol). It's just the way it is with fighting games. It's also not always a balance issue but just that certain characters have more tools that the pros can use effectively compared to other characters. For example, you could say that Kabal is crazy unbalanced, but he's only insanely good in the hands of people who are pros...there's like one guy who can destroy with him (REO) and even he doesn't dominate every tourny he goes to.

I thought MK9 was fairly balanced in the sense that I can main someone who's considered crap (Kano) but still hold my own and beat a fair share of people who play a top tier character like Kung Lao. Sure, there are still tiers, but when there were stupid moves like Lao's broken spin or Kano's broken upball they fixed it all via patch to balance it again.

Anyway, tl;dr: I'm super interested at how balanced Injustice will be. That's one of the most fun parts for me: figuring out strengths and weaknesses of characters.

I'm not going to say who I'll main yet since I don't know what characters will click for me; for example in MvC3, I was all gun-ho about Deadpool and Spidey... Then I wasn't a big fan of how either played.

BUT the characters I'm most interested in are Batman, Flash, Deathstroke, Bane, Nightwing & Aquaman.

Yea same. I did that with MK and got lucky. The only character i wouldnt have purchased was Skarlet. Enjoyed Kenshi, Rain and Freddy tho. I wont do that here tho, deff gonna wait to see who the DLC fighters are.

I could careless how Killer Frost looks, she seems bland in my opinion.
