I like the Original a bit better, but the Nolan version is still good. Love the cover.

couldn't you get an even bigger picture of the box? it's too small.

Interesting. WB must be really thrilled with Inception that they have their marketing team already sticking "From the Director or The Dark Knight and Inception" on the front cover.

And I love Insomnia. It's quite brilliant and Al Pacino is actually acting in that thing which he hasn't really done for years.

I bought Insomnia and Following around 6 months ago on DVD. I heard Criterion is going to do a Following Blu-ray. I don't think I will bother upgrading either film unless the price is right. I still haven't upgraded Memento or The Prestige.

Carnotaur, that is an interesting observation regarding the marketing. Either they think it's one of his better movies or they are simply trying to sell more Insomnia discs by striking while awareness is high for Inception when it's coming out in July. Or maybe it's a bit of both.

I may pick it up when it hits the $10-15 price range. It's good, though I think the original was slightly better. I was hoping Criterion might offer a Blu-ray of that film (a hopeful cash-in to a hopeful cash-in, heh), but it didn't happen

I've heard similar but doubt it's going to happen. They've already solicited their releases for July without a DVD or Blu-ray release of Following.

You should definitely get the Prestige on Blu-Ray redfireberd2008. It looks stunning.

Yes, I've heard it's reference quality. It's just that Disney seems to rip people off on catalog titles. Hell, they rip people off on all titles. It's $23 at Amazon, which is ludicrous. I already paid $20 for the DVD when it first came out a number of years ago. There are hardly any special features and I've heard the Blu-ray has identical special features. A high def transfer of the film is not enough to make me shell out another $23 on it, especially when the DVD has a really good transfer to begin with. It looks good upconverted.

I looked up the Insomnia announcement at Blu-ray.com. It comes with "movie money" for Inception! This makes me rethink my original position of not upgrading from DVD to Blu-ray for Insomnia. I'm actually watching the DVD right now and the picture quality is great for DVD. Looks excellent upconverted to HD. Depending on the price of this Blu-ray, I think it just might be worth getting it for the free Inception ticket.

i do have to say, that i like the Blu-ray cover. alot.

That cover does capture the film . It's a good movie that I haven't seen in a while and the first time Robin Williams played a villian ( I think). I'll probably pick it up if it's good quality.

usually, studios always make awful DVD covers but in this case, it's elegant. Maybe it's because Nolan's the King of WB.

Same here. Good move on WB's part

I actually think it was, but Death to Smoochy and One Hour Photo both came out in the same year as this, so I'm not sure which was first

I was going to get this anyways, nice bonus to get money towards Inception tickets as well.
