Looks so good! I’m a big fan of Kraven, the black suit, symbiote & Venom so this sequel is almost designed for my preferences.

I prefer Brock as well as Venom more so than Harry. Anyway let's see how this all plays out.

The Peter character model doesn't look as jarring as he did in the PS5 remaster. The new haircut helps but he still looks too young. MJ on the other hand...

Even if Eddie isn't in this I'm still optimistic he could show up in a future game if and when the symbiote changes hosts.

You never know, Eddie could still be in the game, they pretty much entirely left Doc Ock out of the pre-release marketing for the first game so they could be doing something similar here. That said, I do think Harry will almost certainly be Venom in this game, if Eddie appears at all I imagine it would be to set up a storyline for a future game where the symbiote takes him over.

Yeah this looks absolutely incredible. Also the character models continue to look breathtaking! Peters has grown on me A LOT, and I love how MJ, Miles, and Harry look too. Between this and Starfield, it's gonna be an incredible fall for gaming!

As much as I'm a purist about we having an Eddie Brock Venom get the Playstation game treatment, let's face it - they'd have to change quite a bit to make him a more compelling character than the original source material.

Most depictions of Venom we've grown to love have added to the mythos or completely changed the character from his original comics debut. Ultimate Spiderman and Spectacular Spiderman come to mind as two of the versions that completely deviated from the source and instead followed this "we used to be friends but had a falling out" route, essentially making him the Harvey Dent of this IP.

Harry is not a bad fit narratively speaking, he's just not the religious buff schmuck that Eddie is and so we'll miss all the iconic moments we'd love to see realized in the game. Not to mention his ironic and troll personality. That's a shame to me but I accept that Eddie here would probably have to be introduced and fully fleshed out with more core and solid motivations than what's on the source material (he's a bit of a rando stalker that got shafted because he made a mistake and cut some corners in the Sin Eater case).

Most of us have the version of Eddie in the 90s TAS which is pretty much our head canon for him - he's collateral damage. He's what happens when you try to do good but there's still people that get hurt no matter how good your intentions are. But that's way more than what's on the original comic pages for him as a character... He's a cool looking visual that later got fleshed out.

Am I the only one that pre ordered the physical edition of the game from Amazon? I was tempted to go digital, but since I owned the PS4 game on disc, makes sense that i do it here too.

I game on PC primarily now, so I cant have physical copies anymore unless i play on PS5, so when I do, I make sure to get it. I don't know, I I feel like with console a disc just feels right to me, but I can understand why others don't see the point.
