Games gonna be insane
Funny that you said that because I am also replaying the first game Spider-Man Remastered and it’s does seem like it so it wouldn’t surprise me. Almost done with the campaign and then gonna play the DLC chapters and after that Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It’s been fun replaying the first game and reminded me that the story is so good.I've been replaying the first game (PS5 version) in preparation for 2 and is it just me or did they have an update that improved Peter's character model? He doesn't look quite as impish and baby-faced now. The Advanced Suit also looks a little sleeker and more realistic. I could be way off-base on this but they definitely look like they've been touched up.
It's Stockholm Syndrome. The "new Peter" face finally got me.It’s placebo.

If Peter was Venom, that immediately rules him out as a serious threat cause you know they can't have Peter do anything that crazy. He'd just be a big roaring monster who stomps around swinging at characters with plot armormy theory is that Venom is Peter Parker, and Miles Morales has to defeat Venom and save Peter Parker from the symbiote's wrath
I just finished up my Miles Morales replay so I'm good to go for Spider-Man 2. I kinda wish I spaced it out a bit more and finished up my replay of the first games closer to the release in October but I've been on a Spider-Man kick lately and I have the Cyberpunk DLC to hold me over if I need to play something.100% completed both Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered PS5 and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5. So I can’t for this epic and most likely emotional sequel. Preordered and ready to go. Thankfully I have Starfield to keep me busy till then.
Yeah I thought the same but I figured I have the time so might as well replay them now and get it out of the way. I forgot how emotional that final battle is in Miles Morales. Also I love how fleshed out Insomniac made Harlem compared to Marvel’s Spider-Man with the general feel of the district and the people who live there like in the side quest and main story. I also see a lot of Homecoming in the vibe and tone of the game as well.I just finished up my Miles Morales replay so I'm good to go for Spider-Man 2. I prefer the story of the first game but Insomniac really brought it for Miles Morales. The gameplay and web swinging was a big improvement over the first game. My only complaint is that it should have been longer. Even padding it out with the side missions the game still feels too short.Yeah I thought the same but I figured I have the time so might as well replay them now and get it out of the way. I’m not sure, they seem to have already shown a lot.Do u think we will get a showcase for spidey in September?
Yeah, if they show too much more new stuff from the game I think it would start getting a bit much and make the feeling while playing less fresh. Most people are already sold on it and a trailer using existing materials will make anyone aware who’s likely to be interested and for some reason isn’t already aware. The only thing I'm still expecting is a launch trailer that'll probably be comprised of most of the same footage we've been seeing already.
Pretty much. For successful game sequels, developers usually keep things close to the chest until launch anyway. The Last of Us 2 and Tears of the Kingdom come to mind.Yeah, if they show too much more new stuff from the game I think it would start getting a bit much and make the feeling while playing less fresh. Showing unlockable suits can’t do any harm, I’ll let you have that one.Pretty much. For successful game sequels, developers usually keep things close to the chest until launch anyway. The Last of Us 2 and Tears of the Kingdom come to mind.
Personally I don't need to see another second of gameplay or footage from this. However, I wouldn't say no to a sneak peek at the glorious unlockable suits that await us.
Speaking of, I've said it before but I hope there's a way to transfer save data from the previous games so that all of the suits carry over. I'm not expecting it but it would be a lovely touch.

You mean charging extra to transfer the suits from the last two games?Showing unlockable suits can’t do any harm, I’ll let you have that one.
Would be nice. They might be trying to make extra money by reselling you the same stuff though.
Begging them to show off TASM2, NWH ending suit, and ATSV ones.Personally I don't need to see another second of gameplay or footage from this. However, I wouldn't say no to a sneak peek at the glorious unlockable suits that await us.![]()
I don’t really care too much about cosmetics like suits so I’d assumed there were some paid ones? For suits unlocked through gameplay prior I wouldn’t expect them to charge for them, just wasn’t sure if you’d have to unlock some of them again through more gameplay. But I was mainly thinking if there were paid suits that those might not roll over even with a save. You mean charging extra to transfer the suits from the last two games?
I'm still surprised they didn't throw us the TASM2 and NWH end suits as a last hurrah for the first game but I guess there's more than enough opportunity for them to be included here.Begging them to show off TASM2, NWH ending suit, and ATSV ones.
Oh no, my friend. All the unlockable suits in the game were free apart from the ones that you could only unlock through the DLC because you technically had to pay extra for all of the DLC content, there were no in-game purchases.I don’t really care too much about cosmetics like suits so I’d assumed there were some paid ones?
