Instagram or Tumblr

Need help with something. I've been trying to decide whether I should create an account and post some of my photos online. Mostly vacation photos and family gatherings, but I'm not sure which one is the one for me.

Probably Instagram because you can edit them. You could then connect your Instagram to Tumblr.

Yeah Instagram sounds more like it. Tumblr can be secondary. But if you want more people to have easy access, go to Tumblr directly.

Thanks! I've been hesitant to make myself an Instagram account as the site has been given negative connotations with the pollution of selfies and talk about how the filters make the pictures ugly and whatnot.

Both are and shouldn't be too complicated.

Either one is pretty easy but Instagram is better. You can use filters and can upload video as well with or without filters. And if your phone takes high quality images you can even share high speed video in HD, etc.

For now it is, but most people seem to take pictures/videos using their cell phones like 90% of the time. Works well for daily photo/videos of everyday life. Not what I would expect a photographer though to use.

Since this seems to be the best place to mention this, i wanna know if anyone else has been having difficulty in creating an account for Instagram, i can create an account very easily, however, when it comes to the phone number verification, i never receive the code they say they will send. Anyone knows where i can get some help in this problem? Their official support doesn't seem to mention anything regarding this at all.
