The beautiful part of the entire MCU is having these characters meet eachother. When Iron Man first met Cap, Tony and Banner same with Spidey and Cap. We've had the core Avengers together for a while but are expecting a few newcomers to "join" them. It's basically GOTG and Strange who have to meet the Avengers and Captain Marvel when she shows up.

Which interaction are you looking forward to the most. For me it's gotta be Tony Stark/Iron Man meeting Star Lord and Rocket Raccoon and Banner/Hulk. Just smirk when I try to picture the scene where they talk. Just imagining Banners reaction to a talking raccoon :djs:

I am eagerly anticipating the day I get to watch the big shots sit around and figure out some impending doom scenario with Strange, Stark, Banner, Boltagon... basically Hickman's Illuminati. Getting close, but not quite there yet. Maybe it won't happen.

I think I'm excited to see more Parker and Stark, but I am more so curious to see where they stand with each other at the end of the movie.

More T'Chala and Rogers is also high up on the list for me.

Rocket Racoon is gonna do something to piss off Tony Stark next year and it's gonna be glorious.

Without a doubt, this is the area the MCU films shine the most (Whedon did a great job with this).

I some of the posts on a separate thread about what some don't like about the marvel studio's movies. Too interconnected was a concern of some but can't have cake and eat it too. Glass half full adage character interactions need to be well done to really sell these films as they are what they are but need to do it well.

Honestly, it's going to be hard to top the Lang/Stark interaction from CW. Only two lines, but they were perfectly executed and said quite a lot about both characters.

I remember somebody predicting that Star-Lord and Strange would bond over music. I'd actually find it more interesting if they didn't share the same taste and kinda got salty about that, but still, it would be a missed oppurtunity to not do something with music between those two guys.

It would also be really neat to see Strange guide Banner through a surgical procedure.

...or hopefully, one day, HULK and BEN GRIMM!!!

Rocket and Groot interacting with anyone will be gold.

I'd dearly love to see a "Steve meets Frank" scene in the MCU. Not a fight, just them meeting, maybe while Steve is on the run. It'd be low key, with them both deciding what to make of the other.

Pretty much and of the Guardians of the Galaxy interacting with any of the Avengers, especially Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.

Coulson and Agents and the-oh, wait.

But on the real, anyone with Drax.

Feeling like I'm out of the loop on this one...what makes Punisher meeting Cap so interesting? Do they have a good story together?

Punisher has a man crush on Cap in the comics. I think the first time it came up was in Civil War

I don't really see Bernthal's Punisher having a man crush on Evans' Cap.

Spidey & Fury. That is gonna be so great.

If we were getting the mentor thing in the MCU no matter what, I would have much preferred it to be with him. Not Tony, not even Cap - Fury's always on the side, so there'd be no loyalty issues or anything.

I kind of want to see how Tony Stark would react to Rocket the most. Maybe Tony calls him a raccoon by mistake and Rocket loses it and tries to bite his face.

I don't think there will be any Defenders interaction. I think the best we can hope for if they were to appear is like the Hell's Kitchen heroes maybe in some reaction shots to some cataclysm going on or maybe protecting some civilians from debris or some such.

Interaction would be neat, but Netflix heroes are just too far removed from the MCU as as they are.

There will be no Netflix interaction. Not anytime soon, anyway, no matter how many times Kevin Feige gets that question. Down the line, maybe, but doubtful in Infinity War. Same with SHIELD. Though the further away they are, the better.

Scarlet Witch and Vision for me.

Plus I want extended Ultron/Vision dialogue from AoU. :woot:

When you watched Winnie the Pooh, was your favortie character Eeyore?

This should be a movie. Seriously.

Yeah. It'd make for a great sequel to Homecoming also. In the upcoming movie you have Tony Stark as the father figure on one end of the MCU and in a sequel you can have Charlie Cox as a different type and maybe a direct opposite to everything Tony is. I mean Spidey also belongs in that side of the MCU too and would be the perfect bridge.
