Interesting Idea About Sandman and Spidey!!!

I just thought of something...

in the subway battle, this happens:

and in the Battle Royale, this happens:

what's my point, you ask?

In the Subway Battle Sandman is reaching out... possibly to plead to Spidey to spare him...

In the Battle Royale, Venom is squeezing Pete's neck, and Peter by this point has reached a desperatness, that it could be that he's reaching out for Sandman (which possibly could be the only person within view) to plead for help, thinking by some small chance he would help him.

Now it would be interesting if this happened, that Sandman would be faced to redeem himself (which is something he would most likely want to do... because I have a feeling he'll feel sorry for Peter, loosing Uncle Ben and would be sad for him, and sorry...) and seeing Spider-Man is actually Pete, he would be faced with the decision to redeem himself, or get revenge on Spider-Man, and think "why bother, I was in the same situation and he didn't help me."

interesting idea, but highly unlikely, that is pretty much venom standing over him.

I do however like how you pointed out the reoccuring them/allusion.

That could happen because Pete as spider-man would never kill anybody so he would probobly save sandman from the subway place and then at the battle royale maybe sandman after having a few flashbacks of sorrow and such would distract venom for spidey to escape and etc.

that is a good theory and could happen. the only thing that concerns me is that marko has mixed emotions involving his daughter and the crimes he does. i think sandman will be more concentrated on his daughter and getting money than anything else. your theory is a very good one though. maybe spidey is reaching out to sandman and sandman remembers how spidey did not help him when he was reaching out, anything can happen.

Interesting theory but it won't happen....simply because it would take away from the dramatic pull of Harry helping him though.

I think Sandman reaching out is just to make the scene look cool. How lame would it be for the water to just hit Sandman and he go through the bars without us seeing anything? I mean, he most likely thinks he is going to die...I would reach out to my killer and ask him to stop. Sandman is the villian...Harry is the reluctant hero that will in the end...help Spider-Man.

i agree. if the same would happen with spidey he also would nto survive. so yes i htink harry dies when the bomb explodes because noone would survive this not even spidey.

While it seems unlikely that anyone could survive the bomb, I feel like it'd be kind of anti-climatic for Harry's character to die at the hands of symbiote Spider-Man. I think he somehow survives it. Perhaps the hospital scene showed in the trailer is him following the incident (though he probably would need more burns to show for that.)

I kind of like that idea, of Spider-Man reaching out for Sandman's help. It fits with the whole revenge/forgiveness theme. Though it could more likely be him asking for Harry's help or for Venom to spare him.

Do you mean the scene in which symbiote pete throws the bomb at harry?
Oh I'm sure he will survive that, he's in the final battle. Remember that spidey did survive a pumpkin bomb almost to the face in SP1, harry will get injured but he probably has the performance enhancers(goblin formula) when this happens so that will help him to survive.

as you can see in the picture above sandman appears to be crying. he is begging spidey but the symbiote is making him not do it. peter is probably reaching out to harry, but you never know.

there was a diffrent picture with his hand not in front of his face. he probably was not crying. for a second there it looked it though.

Yes, but that scene takes place in the construction site, I think, where you can find sand. Maybe it has something to do with Sandman, otherwise, they might just go on to another abandoned building or something.

Why do people keep thinking Harry will die by the bomb. Besides being anti-climatic, why would they show it in the trailers?!

Besides it has been confirmed he is in the final battle and it is closer to the comics that

agreed, the fact thatr harry is helping spidey out in the final battle. maybe harry or mj is in trouble and peter is reaching for one of them. it is an interesting idea of spidey reaching for sandman though.
