International Poster #2

Becasue I've been waiting for a poster like this forever!! and something so small like freaking angel had to mess it up for me, i wouldnt care if a girl had it on her's....but on mine, my friends would be like wtf is this? i'm not putting that on my wall, hopefully a better one will come out..... like the polish one IN ENGLISH!!! GAH!!


Be patient my friend. I bet several new posters will come out in the next days and you are going to be more than satisfied!

not really.... but one that supject now that you brought it up. i'm just paranoid and are afriad of stalkers, and just feel uncoforatable and angry if that would happen.... i shouldnt have watched sawshank redemstion,... but i don't hate anyone, and if i get to know them i don't care.

BUT NOW for the poster case! i love angel, hes awsome, don't get me wrong, its just i don't what the poster like that on my wall... i dunno, becasue i would rather has someone like halle berry only in a bra on the poster instead.... its like the x-men/angel.... i'll seem like a freakin porno, hahahahha

I also have to agree, the U.S. One Sheet is not as dramatic as the Polish Poster. I love the bridge in the background - it presents a stronger element to the image and tone of the film.

Also, with the question the poster asks - "Whose Side Will You Choose?" - it makes me think that a 'Brotherhood version' of the poster will soon emerge. And if this is the 'heroes poster', why is Phoenix on it? She should be featured as a central character on the Brotherhood poster. It would be great if she appeared on both, reflecting her duality.

yep you are right but maybe on the brotherhood poster phoenix appears too, because she is part of both, who knows?

Okay. My thoughts?

WEll I say its better than the polish one. I like the pose of Wolverine where he's standing just like the rest of them. Makes it more realistic than him leaning forward. Good good. The tag line should be "Who will you stand with?" instead of "Whose side would you stand with..." something like that... just to keep the ad campaign the same ...they should use the tag line they used for the posters. "Take a stand"... not bad though.

In short. Better than the polish poster and effective but still I'm not sure if I like it though. lol

The Angel Shirt-less Issue
By the way, have they confirmed that Angel actually joins the team. Although several images (promo shots) reflect him in the X-men costume, none of those images are from the movie itself. Showing him in the X-Man uniform could solely be for promotion pursues and for the X-Fans.

If you look back at X2, Nightcrawler never wore a costume but by the end of the film, you would consider him a member of the team - he should have had one. Then again, if they had shown him in promo shots prior to the release of the film, any non-fan would be really confused when they saw him attempt to assassinate the President - Bad example - never mind!!

Still it looks cheap for me. X2 posters were more elegant and simpler: a X with the characters into it.

I don't like none of them. I hope these are not the definitive posters we'll see on theaters.

Polish one is better but they both have an amateur quality, oh well at least the movie will be hot.
