They say they can't access my apartment building, which is strange cause they have before.
Wonder if they tried to get buzzed in and no one would do it. Assuming that is how your apartment works of course.

It's supposed to be kind of. We have a lock on the front door, but no one locks it. They're keypad locks and apparently the Building Manager says they're too complicated for our older neighbors to use.

And today was probably the day someone locked it randomly.

This last week or so has been a pain for me in terms of getting packages, too. First batch I ordered from Amazon got a Sunday delivery, and I work on Sundays so I wasn't home when it was delivered. They were marked as "delivered" on tracking, with a note that it was "left in the mail room." Only...my apartment doesn't have a mail room. Checked the main office, and nope, they didn't receive it. Since it was Sunday delivery, it was shipped through Amazon Logistics, their own shipping service, and after chatting with them, they basically just replaced my items. Arrived on my doorstep just fine that time. Still no clue where the first ones got delivered.

Then this week, I ordered something else on Amazon that they shipped through FedEx this time, and it got marked as delivered yesterday as well, but no dice. I don't know what the deal is, this has never been an issue before, and now it's happened twice in the span of a week. I'd suspect my neighbors if it weren't for that first "mail room" mix up.

Where I live, things are usually pretty good. You might get a delay or two, but not much. But this year has been weird. On Black Friday, my brother ordered some earplugs that are specially made for concerts, because he was going to a concert the next week. They were suppose to arrive like 3 days before, but on the day of the concert they said they lost the package. Then I shipped some presents out after ordering from Amazon, and the dates have been all over the place.

I'm doing a GoT re-watch right now. I swear every time I watch this I become more annoyed with Ned Stark. Maybe because seeing the long term consequences of his choices, they seem less "noble" and more short-sighted and stupid, lol.

I think GoT's has a way of making you jaded, lol. I went into it used to TV shows being very black and white on morals. Seeing the good guy Ned (who I thought was the main character) get killed by the bad guys who stayed in charge for a long time, I wasn't used to that.

Several seasons later, I look back, and realize Ned was naive, for this series. In part due to the series changing my mind over time. The GoT's world is pretty ****ty. Put Ned in another series, and he's fine.

I actually like his character. I think he was important for setting the tone on just how different this series is. However I've come to like other characters more as time went on, and I saw more of the series world.

I ordered a charge cord nearly a week ago from Amazon. Was supposed to arrive Tuesday and it's Thursday and still no sign of it.

Does it have a tracking number? Late packages can be nerve wracking. I'm guessing it's probably still on it's way though.

Ned made two really dunderheaded moves.

1) Putting so much trust in Littlefinger.

2) Going straight to Cersei and telling her what he'd found out about her and her children.

But I agree, I think Ned is just kind of "too pure for this world". Jon started out like him, but he's learned how to play a little better as time has gone on.

So apparently my package was sent out again for redelivery when I got to the post office and have to wait for it again. They then said the mail carrier tried to deliver it at 6:30 pm when I was home and I remember the door wasn't locked cause I went down to my car around 6.

The person who got your stuff by accident were probably thinking there really is a Santa. :p

Huh, I just learned people think Aaron Paul is related to Logan Paul... And they tried to lump them in when that whole suicide forest video hit YouTube.

Reminds me of when people got Harvey Weinstein and Harvey Fierstein mixed up.

Fallout 76 is such a train wreck. Aside from the many other problems, bugs, bait and switch $200 collectors edition, lawsuits, ect. It seems they goofed again. Apparently if you used their support ticket system over a period of time recently, others could view your ticket. Well they could also view your personal info, like street address, phone number, credit card type (luckily not number), ect.

Now my hype for buying Elder Scrolls 6 went from day one to, "let's wait to make sure Bethesda doesn't rip me off, release it in a very buggy state, or leak my info".

I probably should have posted that in the video game section, but it's nearly dead. Most of the time it's just posts of news articles, and podcasts. That section used to be so lively.

@zenith16 is pretty much the Video Games section at this point.

Sadly. Nothing against him, but nearly every thread there is three pages of him posting news articles, and one regular comment from someone else. He means well, but even the video game lounge section is drowning in articles. I just stopped looking there.

As I found out today, there was no mail delivery yesterday with Bush's funeral being held so it should arrive today.

I doubt they learn from this. Bethesda never learns or cares. They re-relased Skyrim with the same well known bugs that have been around since 2011. And they had the audacity to charge $60 for it in 2017. Pretty much every game they release is a bug riddled beta version rather than a finished game. Fallout 76 isnt even a Beta. It's more like an Alpha build. As a company they are approaching EA levels of awfulness.

They built up too much good faith in the industry to change now. Thanks to Fallout, Doom, and Elder Scrolls, they're always guaranteed monstrous day 1 sales because people will keep buying them no matter how glitchy.

I'm glad I haven't got any of their games yet.

You'd think they would call it something more original than "The Game Awards"

Straight to the point. I like it.
