Are you more introverted or extroverted?

Introverted: "Possessing the characteristic property of an introvert. Preferring the internal, satisfied with self, lacking interest or comfort in social interactions". Preferring to be alone. Reserved

Extroverted: "Possessing the characteristic property of an extrovert. Outgoing, comfortable in social interactions". Preferring to be with others. Sociable

Personally, I think it's a waste of life to be introverted. I do like to be alone alot of times, but usually I like to hang out with at least 2 people of my 13 core friends. So I guess you can say I'm more extroverted.

I'm a bit of both. I am extroverted when I'm out with people, but more introverted when it comes to personal things.

I am a bit of both. I work in radio and don't mind making a fool out of myself when people are listening, but I have a problem with talking to people face to face and have a touch of social anxiety.

I think we all know people are lying if we extroverted in the end, "wins" the polling... lol

you're introverted then. working in radio is kinda like working online, you're wearing a "mask" so to speak.

I feel like, the same way.

Constantly being around people sounds like a major headache. I'm an introvert.

Same here, it really depends on the type of people I'm kickin it with usually. I follow the Bruce Lee "be water" mentality in that I easily assimilate with any type of crowd like water takes on the shape of anything it's poured in.

At least Andthepickles has my backon being extroverted

I'm definitely an introvert. Not necessarily because I do not "want" to be around people. I'm just very comfortable being by myself.

Eating at restuarants, going to movies, etc....I have no problem doing those things by myself. BUT, if my friends call and say, hey lets go to the pub. I'm there....

BTW the pic for the intorvert, well....it kinda sucks. lol

When you say eat at a restaurant do you mean like Burger King/some other fast food place or like Olive Garden/PF Changs, etc.

And lol both the pictures are too the extreme. Like I'm an extrovert but I dont do stuff like that. Just as I'm sure introverts dont walk alleys alone

This is, more or less, how I am as well.

All sorts of restaurants......fast food, nice restaurants, the normal one for me is Iguana Joes down the road from me....

And that would be a "dumb introvert"...lol

and the extroverted pic says "I have date rape face"
everybody loses.........

The introverted picture doesnt give introverted people justice at all...introverted doesn't mean depressed,it means you enjoy doing things without needing someone around.

Most creative people are introverted, more comfortable with expressing themselves through their art than to other people.

It's not a black and white question..if i'm around people who are acting like 12-year old's or violent, obnoxious people i would rather stay home and play some instrument or read a book.

On the other hand if i'm surrounded by cool, friendly people i would rather hang around no mather where we are than stay home.

then in that case I don't think it's fair to say you're simply an introvert. I mean myself I am a person who enjoys writing, playing music, watching movies & reading comics hell I still watch cartoons at 25 and these are things I could do by myself with no problem. I love my space and there are many times I appreciate a long walk through the streets of NY more than I do just kicking it with somebody. I have no problem going to a museum alone or anything like that.

At the same time though when I go out with friends I'm usually like a coach. Like you a lot of times I don't initiate getting together they're the ones who usually call. However I'm not a shy guy I get along with strangers right away. I motivate my friends and make them feel great all the time, I'm always dancing and toasting when we party. It's why I have so many different types of friends and we always love to hang out together. That's as extroverted as it gets I mean I'm a direct person, always very hands on and to the point. So that's why I said I'm a bit of both I have a feeling there are a lot more people on here that may be the same way.

Very
very
very
very introverted.
And I HATE it.

To get used to being extroverted all you have to do is be like a superhero and just go out there and take on the world :supes:

It's not hard at all it's only intimidating because you let it be that way. Don't let your mind play tricks on you at the expense of finding out your true potential in the world. That would suck for anybody.

You and I are very much alike then. I adapt to my surroundings also, and pretty much just go with the flow so to speak. At times, that makes me more extroverted, and others more introverted

Bit of both I reckon.

I find it pretty easy to meet new people and talk to new people. But ya, it all depends on what those people are like or who I'm with etc.

Very introverted.

What the hell kind of pictures did you use those for? The introvert is all alone, crying in an alley after they just got raped and the extrovert is at a concert doing some e and partying hardcore:dry:
