Anyone lining up? Remember, in CANADA, the ONLY place to get an UNLOCKED iPhone 4 is an APPLE store! Hence the lines. I am going to go and take pics. I want to make a video of the APPLE peeps clapping you in as they open @ 7 AM. Its such a wonderful event!

Oh come on, the iPhone 3G didn't even have a video recording feature, which I'm pretty sure like, every comparable phone at that time had?

and then when they actually put it in the iPhone 3gs, they boasted it as a new feature (which it was, granted) but it should have been there in the first place.


aaand now the irony, I own an iPhone 3gs, so most of this is just me being angry over the fact that I bought an iPhone 3gs, months before the iPhone 4 was announced. lol

Sat afternoon and there are 4 hour line ups at BOTH APPLE stores here in my city. I SPOKE TO MAN Y IN LINE. SO it appears that Canadians are going crazy for the unlocked phones. You can go over to any other store and purchase the iPhone 4. I WENT TO BB AND THEY HAD PLENTY OF iPHONE 4. BUT.... those stinkin capitalist pig dog swine will ONLY sell you one if you shackle yourself to a horrible 3 year slavery plan!!!!!

So is it true they have been releasing the new versions about two years apart?

I want to get one since I really do need a new phone but I think I want to wait for the next version. Just not sure if I want to wait that long.

A new iPhone comes out every year. But it's usually every 2 years that there's some sort of significant upgrade to the actual hardware. The iPhone 4 is the biggest revision since the original, so it's not likely you'll miss out on too much come next June.

Apple sucks. I'm not just saying that. I've had Apple products before, and they are not built to last. The latest antenna debacle also shows how little they care about function over style.
