Damn Bush, that's what he did to win the election in '04.

Funny that it happens right at the time when no one can agree on an immigration bill

I love that the Dem's are finally getting smart enough to call it what it is in public, like Harry Reid did in that article. I love it even more that the conservatives that this move is supposed to appeal to are balking at it and criticizing it and the Prez. If anything, it seems it will backfire on Bush and even the homophobes who want this legislation will end up further distancing themselves from the Republicans. Man I wish this two-party system would go down the toilet already. It's really holding America back.

So true...

Dubya! we love ya when you got egg on your face.

"Sir, your stance on immigration has divided the country. Similarly, the campaign in Iraq, which you pushed for rigorously, is looking more and more like a disaster every day, your poll numbers are low, and there is another "Fast and the Furious" movie coming out. How do you respond?"

"Um... 9/11?"

"We stopped buying that two years ago."

"Crap. Gimme a sec.... Gay marriage?"

"What?! Good lord, this is an outrage!"

"Hehe, like a charm."

"George, wake up!"

This getting pathetic. Good to see people are seeing it as well.

i'm so proud we've got a president who has his priorities straight.

This amendment won't pass in the senate. Even the Republicans think that this is an issue which should be decided by the states.

Iraq, the economy, tax cuts??? Let talk some real issues, like dudes getting married, Mars missions and steroids in T-ball.

I don't think it's going to work this time. voters fell for that 2 years ago, and learned their lesson and voiced their opinions in disapproval ratings. Now he's going to say Hey remember me against gay marriage? They wont care this time.

Besides support and opposition to gay marriage has changed actually since the last election. A few months back 55% opposed gay marriage and 45% supported it. About 10 years from now the majority will support equal rights.

Iraq doesnt suck, you suck Iraq

I can't wait for people to actually try and DEFEND this.

I'm eagerly waiting for Admiral or Lazur or Man-Thing to pop in and bring up the bible or Clinton or 9/11 or whatever lame excuse they want to use.

Hippie Hunter, if you can get it...how come Lazur, Jonty, Man-Thing, and the likes don't?

Comeon, I want Jonty to justify this. I need my daily serving of bible quotes.
