ya just cause we not hearing things every day on it doesnt mean the show is dead and buried. No way marvel wont do it. And i am glad joe Q commented on the rumors. The likely deal is since we know luke cage is filming now for release fall 2016. And daredevil season 2 likely airing spring 2016. I can see jessica shooting season 2 spring 2016 for a spring 2017 release. Then iron fist likely going into production in fall 2016 like luke cage is right now. Then have a fall 2017 release for iron fist. Then Defenders some time in 2018 with likely a season 2 for cage and/or fist co-insiding with defenders thing. As netflix has said they want to do something with the netflix guys every 6 months.

I feel like Iron Fist is going to be winter 2017 and Luke Cage is going to be summer 2016, that way it's one show for each fiscal quarter with Defenders airing once every three years.

After that, I feel like a show could land wherever in the year it happens to land. Blade, Moon Knight, Elektra and Punisher are all rumored. She-Hulk could also work if Marvel want to dial up the fanservice beyond what network TV would allow and a Hulk sequel is actually greenlit which can introduce Jen but that would require Universal actually thinking that the film could make money at the BO when the last film flopped and Marvel thinking that they can push merch when the 2008 Hulk merch didn't sell all that well. A lot of this depends on how well Thor 3 does. If it's a hit, then maybe Marvel could bring back the Q4 2018 release date that they abandoned when Captain Marvel got delayed. There are a lot of ifs but if Marvel are collaborating with Fox on the X-Men TV shows and Sony on the Spider-Man films, then negotiations with Universal aren't impossible. Granted, it's a lot of ifs and entirely dependent on whether or not people want to see Thor 3 and a Hulk sequel both gets greenlit and does well at the box office for She-Hulk to ever get her own TV show. I just know that I'm rooting for it since it'll ease up on the bleakness of the other Marvel Netflix shows in the same way that both Captain America films are the darker, gritter side of the MCU on the big screen.

The last rumored show is Thunderbolts which I really hope is true but that's a long ways off. We'd need to get a Captain Marvel sequel for Moonstone to appear, a Daredevil Season 3 for Bullseye to debut, a Spider-Man film with Abe Jenkins, Shocker, Joystick and/or Scorpion, an Iron Man sequel with Ghost and a Luke Cage Season 2 with Atlas showing up or else it's just Baron Zemo, Blizzard and Mister Hyde returning alongside Jolt and Songbird's debuts and that's only five people, hardly a big enough roster to do the T-bolts justice. I'd rather get Thunderbolts later when we have enough villains for the series than see major villains debut as anti-heroes. The T-Bolts all need to do some terrible, horrible things in other series before we see them team up because doing otherwise keeps the audience from being invested in their redemption.

And I just got really, really off topic here.

Do you have some vested interest in seeing this fail? There's nothing to worry about. It's over. Let it go.

To be fair, I think the only reason people are panicking a little bit is because I think we all naturally assumed Danny would appear in Luke's series and Luke's series is now well into filming with no announcement of Danny Rand. I guess at this point its safe to say he won't appear unless they are keeping it secret.

That is a possibility though.
We don't know much about Luke's show atm

If peeps are assuming that Danny would appear in Cage then that's not the creators fault. We've had no indication of such. In fact it's been specifically stated The Defenders is where they all come together. So now we're alarmed because the show might not correlate directly with the one we imagined?

I mean I want to see the two of them together in the worst way but I've just taken it for granted that Danny wouldn't show up until his own show. I was hoping we might get a hint somewhere in Jessica Jones since Hogarth is involved but we'll see.

Not at all. I'm more invested in seeing this show happen than any other Netflix series. I'll let it go when I'm reassured the show is actually going into production.

We know an actress has been cast as Misty Knight, a longtime girlfriend and associate of Danny Rand from the comics.

I honestly just think it was because its been ages since we had something to talk about so we talked about this

Things may not pan out as in release dates for movies or shows being moved about, but so far, be it Movie or TV/Netflix show, I've never seen it where Marvel Studios has ever cancelled a movie or TV show that had progressed as far as being announced by an official Press release.

The closest they have come may have been something that was in talking/planning stages like Mockingbird's show for example (which looks like it morphed into Marvel's "Most Wanted" anyways), but once Marvel Studios has a press release and they have thrown the name on a slate to be part of a Phase, they (so far) have always eventually made that product and they have not displayed anything to show that process is going to change.

If iron fist has even a touch of the quality daredevil and Jessica jones did it's going to be phenomenal.

Even the opening titles I reckon will be a sight to behold. I can't wait

The opening titles on these things have been top-notch. Can't wait to see Cage's and IF's.

I hope they take a moment in Defenders to get a bit of comedy from the absurdity of Iron Fist, compared to the other three. Something like:

IF: So, where did ya'll get your powers?
DD: Chemicals.
JJ: Chemicals.
LC: Chemicals.
IF: Cool. I ripped a dragon's heart out.

thanks for the laugh

Thanks. Hopefully they use it. I could use a writing credit for my resume :o

:funny:

It's funny because in the MCU Rand Insustries distributes chemicals. So it's probably all his fault.

Oh, ****. Danny's behind everything. He's the HYDRA of the Netflix MCU. :wow:

No word yet on possible show runners. I wonder if the writers of 'into the badlands' might be interested? I suppose it might be too similar

There was a lot of speculation about what was going on with "Iron Fist," because [fans] hadn't heard anything about it, but there's never been any change at all. We knew exactly what we were doing at Marvel and at Netflix.

Hopefully this will sink in soon and we can put this unpleasantness behind us.

First this was from a brand new interview from cbr. But ya some comments may have been mentioned in past interview a few days prior.

I still bet we will see showrunner and crew news in the spring say March or April ish. And then the show likely to start filming sept or Oct time. For a 2017 release. Their is plently of time.
