First this was from a brand new interview from cbr. But ya some comments may have been mentioned in past interview a few days prior.

I still bet we will see showrunner and crew news in the spring say March or April ish. And then the show likely to start filming sept or Oct time. For a 2017 release. Their is plently of time.

Anyone else really hope that this is set in Flushing? It's largely Chinese and Korean, there are some mansions there as well as many apartments so whether Marvel wants to make Danny a reclusive billionaire, live in an expensive penthouse apartment or live frugally despite his wealth, he could easily do so.

Plus, putting him in Flushing makes him a neighbor of Spider-Man so if Iron Fist and Spider-Man are both shooting, a quick cameo in Chinatown where Iron Fist and Spider-Man are both grocery shopping at the same store is very, very possible, particularly since they'll be filming in the exact same area. It'll be even better if they both know each other personally in passing but don't know that they're also a superhero, at least until a reveal where it's like, "Wait, you're Spider-Man, Peter." "You're surprised? I always had you on my shortlist of who could be Iron Fist." "I really need to stop the whole, notoriously private billionaire act."

If I remember correctly, Spider-Man is set in Astoria but don't quote me on that. I'd really, really like to see these two wind up knowing each other both personally and as superheroes but not knowing who the other one really is and then have it played for laughs. Especially if Danny is already helping Peter with his bills and Peter doesn't want Danny to find out since something about him sets off his spider sense.

It'd make it convenient for a Iron Fist/Shang-Chi pairing, if he appears. At least in the Ultimate universe Shang-Chi lives in the Chinatown area.

No confirmation yet though on when we will get news. Oh those poor marvel people. It must be quite tricky to find the right people for a project like this. I mean fun too but yeah, the pressure must be enormous especially after all of these successes.

I would imagine it would pretty much be a similar schedule to what we saw this year. Luke cage will come out about the same time daredevil did and iron fist will come out about the same time Jess jones did

So it would 2017 at its earliest I guess? Am I right?

DD2 and luke cage has been scheduled for 2016 already from what I understand.

Yes, with no showrunner even announced yet and 2 Marvel/Netflix shows already slated for next year (with a potential season 2 of JJ to consider as well), it would be highly unlikely to premiere in 2016.

While I fully agree they're different characters, I think an Asian Danny Rand would dramatically reduce the chance of having Shang Chi on Netflix. The chance of two Asian male martial artists is slim.

Show likely to air in 2017. As the earliest we likely see it go into production is next fall. As cast and crew haven't even been selected yet. We know dd season 2 is in 2016 we also have luke cage season 1 in 2016. I bet spring production for jj season 2 with a spring 2017 release. And fist getting fall slot of 2017. Then defenders likely to shoot in 2017 for 2018 release. Then I expect dd season 3 probably paired with it. And then fist and cage 2nd seasons after that.

I don't have netflix but is there a way to see how well the shows have done?

No way iron fist be out next yr. When no cast and crew been selected. And they have to spend a few months on pre production then a few months for actual filming. Again crew likely be settled between jan and march then Danny cast and filming take place during late summer or early fall. Then be released in 2017.

As for filming flow. For 2016 releases we know dd season 2 filmed during the summer. And luke cage been filming since early fall. So that is likely how it be for jj season 2 likely to film and iron fist during 2016 summer and fall for spring and fall 2017 release.
