Are you excited about getting to do scenes between Luke Cage and Iron Fist?
COLTER: The actor has been cast, but he’s in a basement somewhere. When the time is right, they’ll let him up and tell him where he is. I am [excited]. I’ll get a nice little break, after doing Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Whether I’m in [his show], I don’t know, but there’s The Defenders.
Correct. Daredevil is B list at best. He's always been a C in my book.
I have a feeling Coulter got a call from Marvel saying "Yeah, don't do that again"Marvel wouldn't allow Colter to say anything without their permission. It seems they can allude to it, but they can't give out the name of the actor yet.
According to mike colter, iron fist has already been cast. I wonder what the delay is with announcing it?
Maybe they know who they want but they're still working out contracts. Or maybe they want to make this into a big deal like when they announced captain America was coming back on Colbert?
Or maybe they're waiting for a slow news day? Or maybe to announce it during the lunar new year to celebrate? CB cebulski has just been sent over to Asia to develop more Asian friendly products after all so maybe he will announce it?
Or maybe mike is just wrong. Anyway I hope it's Harry shum or Cole horibe
That's the route I'd hoped they take since day one.I hope they can become a great duo, since that's really been the relationship dynamic I've been looking forward to the most with this group of shows, along with Danny and Misty.
Just for example, instead of a season 2 for both shows, you could just mash them up and make season 2 Heroes for Hire.
That's the route I'd hoped they take since day one.
I think it's because these shows can basically do what the movies can't. No they can't have giant budgets and big visuals, but they can explore more adult and mature themes but still exist in the greater MCU.I am surprised with myself being more excited for Marvel's Netflix shows than for their movies...when I first heard about what they planned to do with the Defenders, I thought it would be of lesser quality. Turns out that Daredevil was on par with if not better than Nolan's The Dark Knight and Jessica Jones is one of the best psychological thrillers up there with those CSI, murder mystery shows.
Well Jessica Jones is already getting her own dedicated second season. So I would say keep him separate.
I'm saying, Heroes for Hire with Cage and Rand as their second season so you don't have to worry about "oh second season for both shows..."
If the quality of their shows is on par with what's come so far, you might find yourself wanting them to have individual shows, though.
Correct. Daredevil is B list at best. He's always been a C in my book.
