I know i posted this before but i wanted to discuss this if this okay to the mods. But do anybody thinks the transformation scenes will be different or the same. In my opinion i think that it going to be more cooler and quicker than the first movie. What do you guys think feel free to post opinions or whatever. :yay:

Yeah, remember reading somewhere that Favreau wanted the the suiting up to be faster this time and RDJ said that he wants the suit to fit into a briefcase.

I doubt the suit in a briefcase is going to happen, but the transformation should go faster this time.

I don't know. To me, the suiting up sequence in IM was awesome, and I'd prefer it if the suiting up in IM2 isn't delegated to a few seconds. Maybe if Tony has this new system (like repulsor-fields moving the parts around for instance) and when he tests it the first time he let's it go slowly to make sure everything works properly? I don't know. It just seems like making an iconic thing like that shorter would be a waste.

We see RDJ looking in a box in the first official picture.

Hm...

That's a pretty small frickin' box though.

I have a hard time seeing how Favs would manage to include the armor-in-a-suitcase idea in this movie series, considering how adamant he is about keeping it grounded. I mean, it would need like... I don't know, some kind of shrinking-magic to even fit in a suitcase, let alone that little box.

In the modern comics the suit fits into a crate.

I think a briefcase would stress credulity too much, but a big luggage bag could be believable.

As technology advances, so does speed. I too figure Tony suiting up will be faster.

Two boxes the same size...one holds the Mark, the other, a snifter of brandy.

I loved the suiting up. I hope it's more detailed, but not faster.

Downey said he wanted to approach the whole idea of carrying the armor in a suitcase. So, I'd like to see that.

Will he have to put it on manually when it's in the suitcase?

^How about he carry his suit under his normal clothes. It would be very conventional. :D

I always hated the briefcase thing  Makes about as much sense as Flash's costume being in a ring.

^Thats why he should carry the suit under his clothes. Problem solved.

The Flash costume being in a ring makes sense: It's made of a hyperflexible tissue, and he can compress it in mileseconds.

^Regardless, its just as ridiculous as the suit in a briefcase idea.

The suit should be at some other location and "come" to Tony when it's called for. Like Optimus Prime's trailer :o

Man for a second there I thought you were serious. :funny: I think you're referring to the Marvel Vs Capcom game where a huge cannon somehow magically teleports unto Iron Man's shoulder in a fight.

I'm a little serious lol. It was awesome in that game but would look ridiculous on screen unfortunately.

Yeah i'm not really that big with the armor in the suitcase thing. Also Favreau said that he want the movie to be as realistic as possible and he also opposed to the armor in the suit case thing. I mean i don't even know how that work. Maybe Tony should have small stations over the world you know at his places (Stark international) or whatever and put the suit on in that little station or something i don't know but the whole armor in the suitcase thing just doesn't fly.

I'd like iron man to stay as real as possible, fitting the suit in a briefcase isn't happening, maybe there could be a portable addition to the suit. How about a mini jet pack, The suit minus the armor.

IDK?????? Maybe have changing room in bottom of happy hogans car.LOL

That "keeping it grounded" "keeping it real" is just baloney, everyone's beloved "Favs" didn't seem to have a problem with bending the "keeping it grounded" rule when he introduced the idea of a hand held 'Men In Black' neurolyzer looking doohickey that causes temporary paralysis just by holding it up to a persons ear. Yeah, way to keep it real "Favs".
