Iron Man 3 Iron Man Hall of Armors

Does anyone know which [BLACKOUT]red-and-gold armor Tony wears after using the Silver Centurion and before using the Shotgun[/BLACKOUT]?

The nightclub armor, though in the art book leaked scans it is all black as it is a stealth suit.

Even after the whole "Clean Slate" thing, I wouldn't doubt that in the future, we might see some of the armor rebuilt. After all, look at the suits in the Hall of Armor he had on display in his workshop. Pretty much all of the suits he had on display except for the Mark II, Mark IV and Mark V were either destroyed or badly damaged. Tony still rebuilt them, so it wouldn't be out of the question to see the return of, say, the Silver Centurion armor.

I would have loved to see more of the suits and to see then doing their specialty

Looking at all the armors, the suits from Mk 8 to Mk 14 aren't all that radically different from the ones we saw in previous movies. Kind of have to wonder what those suits do since it's not until Mk 15 that there's a more specialized nature for the suits.

It may look like it is a desperate move to reach 42 armors but we all know how Tony Works. We know before that Tony Stark don't look back but he changed his outlook when Obadiah Stane stole his arc reactor and he is forced to use his old one. Now he cherish everything that he creates even prototypes. For me it is weirder if we see lesser duplicates because it is just not Tony. When he creates a certain armor he progressively updates it.

That's a good in-universe explaination, but in production, it's lazy.

I don't understand it. In iron Man 1 we have Mark 2 and Mark 3 (repainted) and in Iron Man 2 we have Mark 4 and Mark 6 (different chest piece) then why on Earth we are complaining if there are several Red Snappers or heartbreakers in the set.

Not complaining bout the several Snappers and Strikers, I mostly have a problem with the Mark 8-14 and some other. Those are lazy
They are just mismatches of heads, chests, hips, legs, and arms of other armors. The biggest crime is seeing parts of the Heartbreaker, Snapper, Hammerhead, and such in the early earlier armors.

P.S.

Where does the screenshots come from? Is it a book or a catalog? i hope we can get a better scanned version of this book.

I think from The Art of Iron Man 3 book coming out later this month.

I personally like the round shape chest ones. Triangle is too ugly

I prefer how the silver centurion looked in the comics, red and white that is.

The first one is MK XVII (Mark 17) - Heartbreaker - artillery RT armor. The second is MK XLI (Mark 41) - Bones - black and gold skeleton armor.

Trying to remember which armor it was, maybe you folks can help, thanks!
Which suit did Pepper pull down and use to finish off Killian?

Third3ye,

it looked an awful lot like the Mark VII, but since it was destroyed I'm assuming it was one of the similar suits circa Mark VIII or IX
