Iron Man Iron Man: Video Game *Update*

Played a few levels on the 360- nothing groudnbreaking, as stated above, but it's a fun time anyway

Just started playing it for the 360. I'm having alot of fun, though the flight camera is dizzying, to say the least. The only part I'm having trouble with now is fighting Stark's helicopter boss of the second level. Nothing I do to it is working... repulsions, mele strikes, missiles, grabs. Nothing. Even throwing the thing's missiles back at it does little good.

However, I thoroughly enjoyed the training sequences. Nothing like flying around at high speed while listening to Robert Downey Jr. smartass to Gwenyth Paltrow.

You ust gotta keep firing on the helicopter. It'll gradually do damage. Use the power distribution to power up your weapons and hover just above the helicopter so it can't hit you with it's machine guns.

Now you guys start posting that you like it. I just sent my girlfriend to pick up GTA4. I will end up just renting this and beat it in one weekend.

Just started playing it for PC, and it looks pretty good, not the best game of the world but it's cool you controling the Iron Man, I'm also playing for NDS and it's lame as expected.

I have a question, do you get to see the War Machine armor in the video game, or even, can you play, fight or assist Rhodes, who would be wearing his War Machine armor? Or is it nowhere to be seen in the game?

That Madjia level is a real *****, if you know what I mean. How the hell are you supposed to beat that level? BTW the part of the level I'm talking about is destroy the missiles, turrets, and some big generator thing while getting shot like crazy and having to just dodge the gun fire. There has to be an easier way or method to this level.

The game is all kinds of OK in my book, but i've gotten my 8 bucks out of renting it for sure.

Question though. I'm on the iron monger level and I can't figure out how to beat him. I've been trying to beat it for over two hours now. I try to get close range and end up losing all of my re-starts in about 5 seconds. Any tips?

ok to answer some

2nd lvl- Use the Y button, which releases guided missles. Keep firinging and using the missles... It helps to route your energy to the weapons (W) (or down directional button)

No war machine so far... so far its followedthe movie and in different areas you run into known enemies...

Which Maggia lvl are you on? Because if you havn't gotten to the huge air base... well... good luck

I myself am stuck on fighting Titanium Man... its HARD... the lvl is rough with this HUGE cannon that shoots an energy lasser at you through out the lvl (unless your hiding)... so after you take down its shields, you fight that... then Titanium man beats the circuits outta you... So far the hardest is fighting him and the huge air base

(BTW i'm on Normal...)

I think I'm on the huge air base. Have to destroy about five missiles. One huge power generator. Eight turrets all with things shooting me and seemingly not enough time to fight back.

nope... thats not the air base... but that one is all about rushing and routing your power...

when i redid the mission to get it down within the bonus time, i rushed to the missle launchers first. the first one you should do is to the right. theres a truck at the base of the launcher, it'll blow up when you hit it and destroy the missle launcher so much faster... plus you get an acheivment for it . If you really dont remember where the others are, thats fine, attack the 10, not 8, anti air missle launchers.

When attacking the missle launchers i suggest routing your energy to your weapons and attacking that way... be sure to use your Y button too as that is most effective

Stay close to the ground to avoid too much missile fire and use the Striker armor also, with the chaff missiles special.

So...anyone in here have an unbiased review of this game on a scale of 1-10 compared to great games?

is it worth buying? renting? why? Is it fun or arduous?

hey guys this game sounds awesome!! I am planning on renting it today. But i don't know if i'm the only one but does anybody use cheats? I don't, i like to play the game as a challenge

i havn't beaten the game... its somewhat easy, and very challenging at the same time. You have bonus missions you can revisit the lvls for that make gameplay last.

Its probably possible you can run through the game just by renting it... however, its rough in some spots.

I actually gotten up to a spot that i almost want to give up on the game. (HELP PLEASE) its the fight against Titanium Man...

But other then the game itself, theres another part of the game called one mn army. I havn't tapped into that yet, but sounds like fun.

So far i'd say its an 8/10. As i played the demo over and over, i'm really enjoying more to the game. I also love the flying controls... which are so much better then the super man games.

i dont think there are any that exsist. I learned from Marvel Ultimate Alliance that cheats are BAD... in MUA they disable achievments... which kills the mood of playing

It's more Spider-Man 3 than Superman Returns imo. It's better than Superman Returns. The suit upgrades are noticeable and add a different aspect to the game, certain levels require certain power systems etc.

Then I suggest going for the Easy difficulty setting.
