I loveit. Why does every single kid have some sort of nervous tic? It's like watching a whole group of future Micheal Scotts. Not one seems like they would be comfortable in a social situation.

Actually, there were only about 5 kids in the whole competition that were home schooled.

I love watching their reactions when its town to like 5 people, and someone spells something wrong.

They get so pissed.

I just wonder why on Earth the kids ask for the word to be used in a sentence. They already know what it means, so they SHOULD know whether or not it's a verb, noun, adjective, etc. Maybe it's because I've never been in a spelling bee since 4th grade, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how hearing it in a sentence helps them to spell the word any easier.
